Pure DVD????

I was just wondering. Are they going to make a Pure DVD out of Hayley's PBS special??? I really hope so! Because I would really like a full DVD of Hayley singing...

P.S As bonus features...wouldn't it be cool if they included interview stuff like Charlotte did on Voice of an Angel, and interview with her family etc. And the Pokarekare Ana, Wuthering Heights -and all the other ones with music videos- music videos? That would be amazing! I would pay big money for that DVD! lol.

Hi Natasha and, belatedly, welcome to the Forum.

I can't answer your specific question. All I can tell you about the possibility of a DVD is that, when I spoke to Hayley last December, she told me that one was to be made in New Zealand in February. Unfortunately, that didn't happen but, in March, she assured me that one would be forthcoming eventually. I guess both you and I will have to be patient!

Failing that, perhaps you could make one?

Yeah, a Pure concert DVD would be so cool. I have the Charl's VOA DVD as well and I love all the interviews. Who knows, when this is on PBS in the autumn, I just might pledge money if they offer Pure DVDs !!

I don't ordinarily pledge money to PBS, although I probably should!

I certainly would pledge, just to get a DVD of Hayley's PURE concert!

And speaking of Hayley concerts... does ANYONE know when we fans in the USA could ever hope to see a "full" live concert of just Hayley alone? I don't mean like Hayley's October appearances at Carnegie Hall or Trenton, NJ (where she is just one of many different performers). I mean, a real PURE TOUR, where we can hear just 60 to 90 minutes of PURE Hayley?

We are waiting for confirmation on the actual venues. As for it being just Hayley. That I doubt you will get. Every artist who is on tour has supporting artists so that they can get a break from the stage. A rest, a bit of refreshment, and a break from the heat of those lights - they are incredibly hot. A standard stage will be lit by more than 100 lights, not including spotlights, and each of them will be 2.5 kilowats or more. That is an awful lot of heat and, if you look at the lights themselves, you will notice them smoking as a result of the heat generated.

But, one thing you can be assured of, any of Hayley's concerts will feature mostly Hayley.
