Hi Every One, If i had one wish for Hayley it would be that she could enjoy a camping holiday with her family as she used to .They used to go to the same campsite year after year , and meet the same people until she became to well known to enjoy it in peace.I think deep down she misses this and other things fame has taken from her. When in Christchurch i hope she can still walk down the beach that she has previously mentioned she enjoys walking down with no hassles. Also I hope when the family meet overseas they are able to sightsee, even for half day, cant be too much fun just seeing inside halls and radio stations, I know she would say she loves it,but i can't help thinking what we the fans have taken from her.

Hello Belinda, Thanks for the question. I think we all dream of recalling and reliving earlier days and happy and intimate times with your family. You are very right these must be profondly more difficult for Hayley. My wish would be that when Hayley wants those private, personel and precious moments she is able to achieve them. Just to emphasise how cool is it meeting Hayley at the CD signing tommorow. Denis

Hi Belinda,
That is a lovely question but there is really only one answer and that has already been given. I think it is essential that Hayley is frequently able to find peace and tranquility and time with her family and friends.
So long as she is well and happy, no matter where she is or what she is doing is all I can really wish for her.
Roger

My wish is simple, but it has four elements. They are:
May she enjoy long life, good health, great happiness, and more success than she could ever wish for herself.
Keith.

Hello folks! I agree with everything that has been said so far, and I also hope the media will focus their attention on Hayley's immense talent and recognise her as a superstar in her own right. Hayley has worked really hard to get where she is today, and she really deserves all her success. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

What could I wish for Hayley? Hmmm. Well, certainly long life and continued good health for both her and her family, good and genuine friends who treat her as their friend and don't try to use her, continued success so long as she wants it, a loyal but understanding fanbase who will support her in good times and bad, enough wisdom and humility that she always stays grounded and doesn't forget where she came from, eventually a partner who will love, honor and support her and however many healthy children the two of them decide they want, the right to see her children's children and the children of her sibling's children, and, after a happy and still healthy old age, a painless and peaceful transition from this world to the next and her seat at the Lord's table.

My wish for Hayley is that she always keeps near her family; especially now that she's 18. These next few months for her are going to be crazy with appearances, concerts, and seemingly non-stop interviews. I wish her that she can, yeah, take a short holiday in NZ and some privacy. I'm amazed at it all...just think of the tremendous amount of hard work she's accomplished in the last two years. I wish her every success with the new album. She's "our" Hayley and I've so proud of her!

Well, Hi Again Belinda. This all seems to be related to August 2005. It is amazing how time flies but the thread is relevant, especially as you were questioning me over an implication you read in an earlier post of mine, that Hayley should be holidaying in January and not doing a tour.
First, if time is flying for me, it must be meteroic for Hayley. I hope she does take time in all that she does to savour each moment, not rush through her life preoccupied with the next event.
When she was at Banbury, she paid compliments to the unique beauty of the building. One felt that was not a 'thing to say' but that she had quietly observed the architecture earlier in the day when they were setting up the stage. I hoped that she had been able to take a few moments just to sit, to observe and 'to be'.
What is this life if full of care We`have no time to stand and stare. W H Davies, 'Leisure'
Not that Hayley perhaps has cares in the sense of troublesome ones but she is a high level professional amongst the best and aiming for the standards of the truly greats. That means maintaining, continually questioning and seeking to further raise her standards, so there must be a preoccupation on the 'business' aspect of a performance.
I hope she has time to sit and contemplate so that when she performs she embraces all that is around her as a part of her--and I think she does. In 'The World at Her Feet' they say that all around her may be seething activity but she is untroubled, almost a sea of tranqjuility in the storm around. If so, that is indeed an inner strength of great value.
What emerges from this thread you started, Belinda, is what a super bunch of fans she has around her. They appreciate the effort she puts in; the generosity of spirit in which she tries to share herself amongst us when we have that prviliged chance to meet with her. The world will want to know her and she cannot know the world on an individual basis.
Your comment to me, that we must share, is right and I understand how NZ must have felt somewhat left out if it is two years since she toured her home country. I am missing her already and she hasn't left us yet! Although you must remember, Belinda, that while she may be based in London she has been in Germany and the US, not always available to us in the UK and in my case I am of course regretting that family matters denied me many of the opportunities we did have to see her.
Most importantly amongst these tributes is a recogintion of her right to a private life. That we may ask for only so much and in her generosty of spirit she gives much.
To watch her at her signing table when the hall proprietors have been forewarned she will be leaving the building late, she takes her time with each person. She poses for their photograph with her. Patiently deals with the fact that the person taking teh photo has just had a camera they are unfamliar with thrust into their hands and have to work out which way to point it and which button to press. You know she understands what that moment means to the people posing wih her and for that moment they are the most important people in the world.to her.
So, Hayley, if this is a post you get to read, our concerns for you are not trying to claim ownersip. They are expressions of appreciation and love and in our grabbing every opportunity we have to share your company, we know we can only be on the periphery of family and friends, that we must share you around and respect that it is your life, not ours. God Bless. Peter

I sincerely hope that whatever I'm taking from her I'm repaying in full by supporting her career at every turn. I hope this support is directly translatable into material advantage for her so that she can escape the pressures of being a public figure any time she wishes.
Every celebrity has to make an adjustment to fame once it sets in. I don't see Hayley as having a harder time of it than any other well-known artist of her generation. She has, for the most part, an adoring fanbase which never takes her to task for musical style, choice of songs or public image. Her temperament is quite even-keeled and she doesn't court controversy as a PR tool like several others whose names I need not mention have done.
In the next five years Hayley will transition from being "well-known" to full-fledged musical celebrity/household-name. Her life will be more interesting to more people in more places. The anonymity she takes for granted in London and New York will be just a fond memory. The very fact that she's gladly heading there is reason to assume she's fully ready for what's in store.

I don't know if this is the right place to mention this; no doubt I'll be reminded if it isn't! When Hayley comes to Llandudno, she always greets us in Welsh! And the place goes wild!

Also I, too, would wish for Hayley whatever she would wish for herself.

Hi Belinda, I know you started this thread a few years ago, but I was just thinking of this topic this evening on my way back from school (university) without even knowing of this thread. Forgive me, if this is old hat...I will briefly, yet sincerely, state my peace and return to my work. Many know that Hayley is an outstanding vocalist, but in my short time of learning about her, I've also learned of her ability to touch lives deeper than her angelic voice. She takes time to visit with fans, perform for fans, and to take action on issues she holds close to her heart. She has touched many lives, as well as, many hearts with her caring personality....which is a much deeper impression, lasting a lifetime. For these reasons: - Regardless of fame or fan demand, I wish for Hayley, more time to spend with family (as you also mentioned, Belinda)...like simple, uneventful evenings, where the warmth of a family can cover all cares and heal all broken hearts....where the cherished moments are created.....through the goofiest of times to the most serious of conversations.
- I hope (and am rather inclined to believe) that the members of 'HWI' will stand by her throughout her career, as they have done in the past. (And, perhaps in some small way, I hope that I am able to help, as well). For fan demand is one thing, fan support (which is what 'HWI' seems to be about) is another.
- Lastly, I do wish for her to be successful in the future, though not at the expense of any moral or religious convictions. And success in life is not always measured by number of CD's sold. May her friends (and fans) ever be true; May she find the support she deserves; And may she find the rest and recuperation she needs,-(A thankful young man.) I apologize for the "lateness" of the post, and hope this coincides with the theme...these are truly my thoughts and wishes for Ms. Hayley. (I think I have delayed my work long enough now).

This thread may have been here for a long time, but I only joined the forum 6 days ago and this is the first time I've had the opportunity to add in my two-cents worth and here it is:
I wish for her to find eternal happiness wherever she turns.
