Hello everybody! There is a thread on the 'Hayley Questions' board asking if Hayley could sing country music. I've been thinking about this for a while, and I remember hearing a country gospel song called "Will You Walk With Me?", recorded by Irish singer Mary Duff a few years ago. This is a fairly up-tempo number, but I think it would suit Hayley's voice very well, especially with Fiona Pears accompanying her on the fiddle. It isn't called a violin in country music! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifYou can hear a short clip of Mary's version of the song here. What do others think? Richard

Hi Richard, I've just listened to the sample of 'Will You Walk With Me?' and I like what I heard. The song reminded me of some 'Fairport Convention' songs... As you suggested, the song is upbeat and it would be a good one to do. Like you say, with Fiona accompanying on the fiddle, that could potentially be a lively little number! Perhaps Fiona could "borrow the spotlight" in order to incorporate a good "fiddle solo" in there too! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRegards, Andrew
