I've just visited the 'HAYLEY WESTENRA WORLDWIDE' site... ( I'm still trying to figure out the intricacies of the chat) I guess that makes it in a couple of hours from now? (UK is a five hour, give or take, difference from here in Ontario, Ca) I'd like to check this chat out, it was happenstance in which I came across this thread today of all days... unfortunately, I have plans for the next few hours... Maybe I will read all of you there later on in the day... Hi nealwsyrette! The chat starts at 4.30 pm Ontario time and it takes a few hours. Maybe you find some time for it. Thomas

The local time is about 6:30 pm here, I just got back from my errands, so I do have the time to spare...
The chat doesn't seem to be working on this computer... something about the Java... though my friend keeps insisting that it is enabled and works...
C'est la vie, I guess... to be honest, I'm not really sure if I'm on the right page anyways. I see a lot of pictures of Hayley smiling and the medieval background but that is about it. LOL
Hmm, upon further research, it seems the Microsoft browser I am using doesn't use Java anymore... LOL 'it lacks a Microsoft Virtual Machine for Java (MSJVM)'... that answers that...
Perhaps another time...

Hi Neal,
Yous hould get to the right page if you click the link in Belinda's signature to Hayley Westenra Worlwide at pizco. There is a chatroom link which opens a new page, where you can enter a username of your choice. No password required. There are indeed lots pf Hayley pictures on those pages - well, if you don't succeed now, maybe you can try at leisure sometime to see if you can resolve your problems. You may then end up in an empty chatroom though, with just you being present ...
Hope you can work it out.
Gerrit

Doubtless Belinda will have posted a report by now--I'm catching up on posts again. For the record I thought both the chat and the facility of the chat excellent. It was fast moving both as regards lively banter as well as the physical posting timings. Certainly the mechanism is a vast improvement on what i have known previously (which is why I hever participated since). Well done for the initiative Belinda.and thank you for hosting. Peter S.

What about the NZ period, or was it others burning their midnight oil rather than NZ members rising with the lark? Peter S.

Belinda NZ Gosh, it is a long time since I did a whole twenty-four hours in one session! I recall, when young, having finished a theatrical performance, attended a party which ended up with us going to our local Beacon (one of several strings of hilltops used to light fires on the occasion of the Spanish Armada, which meant the whole country could be alerted in the event of an invasion within about four hours, four centuries ago!) to see the sunrise. I then cycled home for breakfast before going to the factory where I was working at a holiday job. On my way, as I came into my home town, a policeman saw me as he was walking his beat and bid me 'good morning'. I bid him 'good night', bringing home to me that had I been out on criminal intent I had promptly given myself away that I was not an early riser but had been up all night! Peter S.

Hi! Thanks again, Belinda for the nice chat. Yes, it was quite full Friday night and I also had to wait at least half an hour before I could enter the chat room. No matter how loud I knocked at the door. But you have to be patient sooner or later there will be a place for you. Hayley didn't join us on Friday but it's ok. She can't have time for us every month. She has more important things to do. Finally we are all waiting for the new album. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Anyway it was a funny HWI gathering and we all had a blast. If I can arrange it I will be there again in December. Thomas

Hi, all chatroomers & potential customers.... I had my first chatroom experience ..... nobody was going to shift me out of my chair and off the site!!! Therefore.... please except my sincere apologies if I stopped you from entering!! I know better next time!! (that's if I'm allowed in, that is??) I absolutely had a blast chatting with fans who I only know by posts & pics..... we could have been sitting around a table in someone's kitchen!! (certainly would have been the right place for Peter.. no offence, Peter!!) Thank you again, Belinda what an awesome time!! Love Marianne

I absolutely had a blast chatting with fans who I only know by posts & pics..... we could have been sitting around a table in someone's kitchen!! (certainly would have been the right place for Peter.. no offence, Peter!!) Love Marianne Of course no offence taken. My kitchen table is too small for so many :-[and in fact my plate was on my writing desk in front of the laptop! While prawn cocktail followed by curry may not be to everyone's liking (especially Hayley's) I am sure they would have been happy to have a glass of Pinot Grigiot or my Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine would have gone round, I keep a wine-rack downstairs which is half a hotel bin rack. A friend found it in a sale and although he had a manor house at the time where it would have fitted, he is not a great wine drinker, so we split it in half. Each half holds four and a half cases--not that mine is ever that full It doesn't stay there long enough! Peter S.
