Hi All, Hayley's latest update includes some lovely photographs, huh? It was really kind of Hayley to share those pictures with us... Hayley's "fairytale Prince Charming" isn't Canadian then! Regards, Andrew

Hi All, Hayley's latest update includes some lovely photographs, huh? It was really kind of Hayley to share those pictures with us... Hayley's "fairytale Prince Charming" isn't Canadian then! Regards, Andrew Hi Andrew, yes it was good to see some background details and backstage photos from the tour, too! How about that then, the writer of Never Saw Blue (Jeff Franzel) is Hayley's Musical Director for the tour! It also looks like Jeff is the "Manic pianist" who several Il Divo fans have praised in their reports! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAs I write this, the newsletter still hasn't appeared on Hayley's official site. Not everyone may be subscribed to the newsletter, so here are a couple of the photos from it "from left to right: Rick (our tech guy), Askold, Robert, Jeff, Dave, Ali (our tour manager) and me!" "I can't skate, but I can pose!!" Cheers, Dave

Dear Andrew.
Glad I caught your response before I started a thread, we obviously must be some of the first to read that letter.
Thank you, Roger, for the connection that enables Hayley to post. I'm none too sure to what extent Hayley manages to look at HWI or whether she relies on admin people to post key passages or give her a summary, but please ensure she knows what super letters she writes and how very much they are appreciated.
She delightfully fills in the scenario (and what a pity it did not come out so clearly in the advance publicity (through her management team not Hayley--although it may have done more locally)) about how the concerts were working out.
I wasn't aware she was running two interconnecting tours with her own band as well as appearing with Il Divo on their terms. This gives what she is doing in the States a much broader and more interesting (and hopefully more advantageous) perspective than I had believed was the case.
What is also interesting is that none of this appears to have come out in the press reviews either.
Tell her too, please, that the wonderful freshness of her newsletter really cheers us up and makes us realise that while it is only thee months, we already miss her.
What is also delightful is the wonderful way she shares her tummy rumbles with us as well as telling us she's sitting their in her PJs. I think it is a wonderful statement of her relationship with HWI that she feels able to share such familiarities and makes us feel really close to her.

Hi everyone!
I really enjoyed reading this update from her. When I talked to her in late February she said she'd been thinking about writing an update for a while, but hadn't the time and would do it soon. I'm glad she waited a while or we wouldn't have seen these fantastic photos! It certainly sounds like she's having a blast both on stage and off!

Thank you. I enjoy reading Hayley's newsletter. In one of the photos,it is written 'Indulging my sweet tooth in the Canadian tradition!'. Is Hayley eating some traditional Canadian food?

Hello Raymond! According to Hayley's newsletter, she is eating a Canadian delicacy called a beaver tail. Those are wonderful photographs, so thank you for sharing them Hayley! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifNow I'm feeling hungry, so I'm off for something to eat. I'll be back on line tomorrow folks! Richard

Hi everyone! What a nice suprise to find Hayley's letter in my inbox! I loved the photos! I've been on the canal myself a few times; it was a lot of fun, and I'm glad Hayley had the chance to experience this. It sounds like she had a great time in Ottawa! Oskana

Come back Oksana! Can you tell us what a beaver tail is or do we have to ask Allen? Roger (thinking I'd rather have a Bounty!)

Thank you Oksana, I knew I could rely on you. I don't know how I've managed all these years without knowing that. Roger

Hi Roger and Oksana, Like Oksana, I actually never had a beaver tail. It must be an Ottawa thing cause I haven't seen it here in the west coast When Hayley visits Vancouver (hopefully in the future), she should try our candied apple and mini donuts! Here's a recipe for beaver tails, so we can all share the experience with Hayley i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifwww.razzledazzlerecipes.com/canada/beaver-tails.htmLooks like Hayley had fun in Ottawa! I really enjoyed reading Hayley's update. I love how she writes them!
I'm so glad she had a great time in Ottawa and had a go at ice-skating on the frozen Rideau Canal.
I was in Ottawa a few years ago and it's a lovely city. The currency museum (love the Loonie and the Twonie...Canada's dollar and two-dollar coins) and Parliament Hill were tops on my list.
Thanks for also including the link to the newsletter on HWI.
