These are great pictures Richard! You did happen to miss one so I thought I'd post it. I think she looks a little like Alice from Alice in Wonderland in the first picture with the Pink Panther. Hello Caite and everybody! I didn't miss the photograph, because it wasn't there yesterday morning. The gallery has quadrupled in size since I last looked, so there may be more pictures still to appear. Here's the link again:- www.thebuttonclub.com/events/Pink_Panther_Ball/galleryI'm fairly certain Hayley was dressed up as Alice in Wonderland, judging by the Alice band in her hair! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Best Wishes, Mad Hatter Richard

It is interesting Caite that you see Hayley as Alice. I'm a traditionalist for the Tenniel interpretation of Alice. What I saw in this dress was a 1950s girl. Now, here I court the wrath of Belinda (or her ridicule, perhaps?) It is often thought over here that NZ represents 1950s UK. In fact, someone actually quoted that to me in conversation only the other day.
Remember the picture of her being held in the Pink Panther's arms? I made the comment that even in letting her hair down and having a fun time, decorum was a natural part of her awarenes. Her hand is holding the hem of her dres close to her leg so that she was not in anyway indecorous. That is a 1950s trait. I like it. Yet she is also a throughly modern Millie!

Do you think Giselle knows anything about a Hayley concert in NYC on March 20? TimJ Hi Tim, If that question was prompted by the unnamed lady in the photograph, it isn't Giselle. She is no longer working for Bedlam Management. Steve Abbott has already promised to send details of the NY concert when it is confirmed. When he does, I will relay it here. Er, no I won't, I'll put it on the Hayley in Concert board! Roger

Hi All Back to the Pink Panther Ball. Thanks Richard & Caite for the shots. I thought it was worth posting a composite of Rex Events thumbnails of that event. It's easy to see who's the real Belle of the Ball. The guy who picked her up nearly threw her among the chandeliers. Graemek

Thanks for the composite images, Graeme! I see the gallery on the Button Club's website has doubled in size overnight, and there are now over 100 photographs. I can't see any more of Hayley, but the pictures are still worth a look, so here's the link again:- www.thebuttonclub.com/events/Pink_Panther_Ball/galleryAll the photographs can be enlarged by clicking on the thumbnails. Best Wishes, Richard

Going by several attendees' comments on the Button Club gallery, the Pink Panther Ball wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The food disappointed and the acoustics in the joint were just awful.
Looking over the names, only two sparked any recognition: Brendan Cole and Hayley -- both of whom are from Christchurch, NZ.
Did you notice that Rex's gallery is considerably more Hayley-intensive than the Button Club's? That's a reliable indicator of her newsworthiness relative to the field.

Entirely agree with you Steve as far as Rex features are concerned. Of course, syuch media interest is both a good and bad thing. Good in the sense of her being seen as newsworthy and therefore promoting her name in a wider context while at the same time starting the slippery slope of losing the privacy and normality she loves. It looks like Hayley had a really good time, and that's all that matters (to me anyways). I don't think her privacy will be affected to much if she stays the course. As we all know, Hayley's a class act, and she shows it in the pictures provided. She didn't dress riskay like many of the other people shown in the photos, and I am sure she didn't stumble out of the event totally liquored and out of control (which is what the media typically latches onto - See Lindsay Lohan ). To the unsuspecting eye, Hayley Westenra would be another girl at the party if you didn't know who she was. It is good to see that she gets out and is able to have a good time (even if she was requested to go as a promotional event). I hope she is able to go out with her friends and have as much fun without being disturbed by the media. Russ PS - I'll carry you any day of the week Hayley....except Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 17:00 to 19:00. That's workout time. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello again folks! Read the invitation carefully:- It says "Treasure Hunt", so Hayley might have hidden a copy of her new CD in the hall. Is this the crowd looking for it? Richard
