Peter The video you have of Sophie does it look like she's singing at a mall. i think i know now which one your talking about,I think you found it on a NZ Hayley site ,But i'm quite sure original footage came from Jill. This is a still of Sophie singing Tomorrow at Hornby Mall 1996 |

Hi, Belinda. Thank you so much for your time and trouble. There is a lead-in of 'Sophie Westenra Fans com' but trying various permutations of that as well as a Google search does not produce such a web site.
This may be its web originator source but I am unclear as to the source from which I actually downloaded it.
I would be happy to put it up, if people were interested, via Simon, I suppose, or Roger/Dave but not being certain as to how I obtained it obviously we would want to be certain it is 'okay' to do so.
Yes, it is a mall and Sophie is performing on beige-coloured square tiles with a deep blue pvc backing, like a builder's plastic sheet used for protecting pedestrians from building works.
Basic amplification is there.and she is using a mike. Her delivery is fascinating, hand, arm movements and occasionally exactly the same pose as the still shown of Hayley. Compare those two pictures and you can see immediately how confusing they are and it is difficult to see they are two different girls.
Doubtless the family would chorus 'it's flipping obvious'. I think Jill would allow 'flipping' as an expletive? I can hear her voice saying it to me in my head right now!

She certainly fits "The Bill". Hayley's had some experience at Wormwood Scrubbs (Pony Centre). If Hayley were to be a WPC in the West Midlands, hope she won't be sent to Coventry! |
