I'm attempting to categorise Hayley'e songs by theme. Do you think this is a good idea? Here's what I've come up with so far:
The "never" songs: - Never Say Goodbye - Never Saw Blue - What You Never Know
The "heart" songs: - My Heart and I - Beat of Your Heart - My Heart Belongs To You
The supplication songs: - Prayer - I Say Grace - Amazing Grace
The alliterative songs: - Bridal Ballad - Bachianas Brasileira - Quanta Qualia
The wet songs: - River of Dreams - You Are Water - Mists of Islay
The astronomy songs: - Across the Universe of Time - Who Painted the Moon Black? - How Many Stars
The motion songs: - The Mummers Dance - Dark Waltz - She Moves Through the Fair
The Maori Songs: - Pokarekare Ana - Hine E Hine - God Defend New Zealand
The death and beyond songs: - Heaven - Wuthering Heights - Dido's Lament
That's as far as I got. Your thoughts, please...

Hi Steve, You ought to get out more! Seriously though, I find this a fascinating subject which actually makes you think about the songs in a way that we may not normally do. I'm not making any promises but, should I think of any, I will be back. Roger

Interesting topic. Wonder how we can categorize "Time to Say Goodbye" and "Vivo Per Lei"?? We need a "wind" category for Hayley's "Listen to the Wind" from the New World soundtrack i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAllen

Hello Steve and everybody! This is a fun idea, but I'm floundering already! Trying to pigeon-hole Hayley's songs into themes, I'm immediately finding some songs fit into more than one category. For example, if "Wind" is the theme for "Listen To The Wind", then "Across The Universe Of Time" also fits the category because of the lyrics. It's an interesting suggestion, but I'm going to pass on this one before I drive myself mad! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Who said "Too late!"? Richard

Since it's now that season in New Zealand, here are her "Summer" songs:
- Summer Fly - Summer Rain - The Last Rose of Summer

Doesn't Nada Sou Sou have something to do with tears or crying? If so, we can have a "tears" section with both this and Lascia Ch'io Pianga

Doesn't Nada Sou Sou have something to do with tears or crying? Hey NL ! Yeah, 'Nada Sou Sou' loosely translates as 'Tears For You'...and 'Lascia Ch'io Pianga' also for the crying theme. ...oh... ...that's better ! Joe
