Here are my favorites from the Classical Brits this year: Hayley's model pose: Is there anyone else who poses for pictures as expertly and glamorously as Hayley? I have yet to see anyone who rivals her.

I love this one from last year's awards, too: Just out of curiosity, was this a media shot, or was it an HWI member's photo? I'm thinking it might've been one of our members, but I can't be sure. I'm just wondering, because it's outstanding enough to be professional, whether it is or not.

Hi Libby Just out of curiosity, was this a media shot, or was it an HWI member's photo? I'm thinking it might've been one of our members, but I can't be sure. I'm just wondering, because it's outstanding enough to be professional, whether it is or not. It's one of mine, so thank you very much for the compliment! Actually though, the press people like their pictures to be clinical wherever possible, hence the fact that most have the NS&I backboard. Professionally, the background to my picture would be described as 'clutter' despite the fact it acurately represented what was happening Personally, I also like the picture - some nice interaction going on! Best wishes Grant

Grant, I thought it might've been yours, but I wanted to be sure before I gave credit to it. (Notice I addressed you! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif ). Then I guess the lady behind Hayley in my signature is clutter, and that one is a media shot.

Oh dear Libby, I seem to have started something here! Then I guess the lady behind Hayley in my signature is clutter, and that one is a media shot. There's 'clutter' and there's 'clutter' in my shot everything was similarly exposed so the background was very obvious and potentially quite distracting. In the media shot you use in your signature, the photographer has used a long lens to blur the background and, I suspect, used high speed synchronisation for his flash which has lit Hayley perfectly and darkened the background which, overall, makes it far less distracting - I actually think it's a rather lovely picture. But sorry for the photography lesson! Best wishes Grant

Oh, yes, I agree, Grant, it is very lovely, which is why I chose it for my signature. But you're right, you don't notice the lady that much unless you look a little more closely. Most people will just be looking at Hayley, not the background. So, were those people in your photo talking to Hayley?

The one of Vittorio and Hayley is funny to me. He's putting on his charms, and she looks pleased, but it's her girlish innocence is what makes it so charming.

In that bottom picture, the dress really does look coral. Most of the time it looks orange.

Hello Libby! That dress tends to change colour with the light, but I'm sure it's really coral pink. Richard

I wish I could see it in person, so I would know once and for all, but she seems to be done with it. So by the time I see her she'll wear something else completely.

My favourite Hayley photo at the moment is the one on the front cover of her book "In her own voice". I have just read the book, but it took me much longer than it should have done because I just found myself gazing at the cover every time I picked it up. I'm sure Hayley was laughing back at me too. Does anyone know if there is a better version of this picture anywhere on the web? Also, I looked to see if there was a thread about the book anywhere on the forum. I found one that looked promising, but it had been locked, with a link leading to a blank page. Can anyone help?
