05 What you Never Know (Won't Hurt You) - Hayley Westenra

13 I Bruise Easily - Natasha Bedingfield
14 All By Myself - Il Divo
15 Ave Maria (Caccini) - Hayley Westenra
16 No Worries - Simon Webbe
17 Both Sides Now - Hayley Westenra
18 Yellow - G4
19 Time - Becky Jane Taylor
20 Time To Grow - Lemar
21 Si Tu Me Amas - Il Divo
22 Wish For You - Faith Hill
23 By Your Side - Becky Jane Taylor
24 Lay Your Hands - Simon Webbe

26 Like We Never Loved At All - Faith Hill & Tim McGraw
27 Fix You - Coldplay
28 Don't Cha Wanna Ride? - Joss Stone
29 Overture (from Ca Ira) - Roger Waters
30 For You I'll Die - Marion Raven
Although some of us have made slight criticisms of Odyssey it is apparent that Hayley has made a very good follow up album. It was never going to be as good as Pure because it's impossible to make two classic albums back to back. However, Odyssey is indisputably a very fine recording in its own right so a "big up" to Hayley to use the modern parlance.
Now some awards :
Best Singer : Hayley Westenra/Barbra Streisand dead heat. (There's only one trophy so as she's won so much already hopefully Barbra will be magnanimous and let Hayley have it).
Best Male Singer : Andrea Bocelli
Best Album : Odyssey - Hayley Westenra
Best Song : Quanta Qualia - Hayley Westenra (Can this even be described as a song or is it a "work" or a "piece" ? Anyway, absolutely stunning.
Best Songwriter : Patrick Hawes for writing the above. (Also an honourable mention goes to Barry Gibb for a sparkling return to form).
Best Live Duet : Andrea and Hayley at "Gotta Skate"
Massive Welly : Il Divo for Unchained Melody
Best Looking : Alsou Safina (A Russian songstress who sounds quite good too. Hayley would also be in the top ten in this category - it's just not fair, is it girls?)
Biggest Embarrassment : Charlotte Church (no comment necessary)
Worst Song : Crazy Chick by Charlotte Church (please no more, no more. I'll tell you anything you want to know, just no more, no more)
Most Annoying : The Choirboys (horrible Aled Jones wannabes)
Most Over-Rated : Katherine Jenkins (can sing but she's nothing remarkable)
Most Envied : Richard Norrington (for having met Hayley ten times, that's nine more than me. Richard, I hate you).
Loud Bombastic Welshman (but I like him) : Bryn Terfel
Slap in The Face : Decca Records (for being too tight to fork out for some decent bandwidth for Hayley's official forum)
Whatever Happened to : Linda Brava (the video they show on Classic FM must be at least five years old)
Biggest Disappointment : Becky Taylor (for her album By Your Side, mostly a very uninspiring collection of songs with dull production and arrangements. Please don't disappear Becky, you're too good and we need you).
I would really like to know what your top tracks of the year are. Please post your lists. Only material released in 2005 please.
