The Classical Album 2007 (UCJ) music
Listening to music in my car, I often choose an album that has a variety of tracks to reflect the mood I'm in. This double CD does just that with over 40 tracks from some of the biggest names in classical music. There's chart-topping Katherine Jenkins, sweet-voiced Hayley Westenra, and beautiful arrangements from newcomers All Angels and The Choirboys to name but a few. Most songs are taken from recent or soon to be released albums, and with such a collection there's something to suit all tastes. My particular highlights are G4's Toreador, Russell Watson's Volare, and a stunning live version of The Pearl Fishers' Duet performed by Bocelli and Terfel.
