Hayley is featured in duets on two tracks, on this new UK compilation to be released on 5th December 2005. It's listed at Crotchet (do a Search for the Catalogue Number 4768815 to get the full tracklisting): "Do You Hear What I Hear" with The Choirboys, and "Silent Night" with Aled Jones. I've heard the first one sung "live" recently and the second came out last year on Aled Jones' album - they are both gorgeous, so I may have to buy this album (or get Aled's and The Choirboys' albums!) I think this album will sell very well in December, it will give a nice boost for everyone on it!

I think we sometimes forget, when worrying about the "low" sales of Odyssey compared to Pure, that Hayley remains one of the top classical crossover artists in the World and is this is well recognised not only by her label Decca but by Universal Classics as a whole *and* by the rest of the Industry (Il Divo are Sony/BMG!). Here is the album sleeve for A Classic Christmas, the latest UK compilation of Universal classical and crossover artists, soon to be released. Hayley is rather prominently featured!

Hi all, I received this CDs today via amazon.co.uk and I'm listening now this CDs during I'm reading at HWI-forum. It is a really nice X-mas gift. Greetings, Lothar Hehe, Lothar, the official release date is December 5th! as at HMV here and almost everywhere else. Amazon have made a mistake by selling it one week too early. It was not in the charts by Thursday last week because most shops do not have it on sale. It should enter at a high position in the charts this coming week but unfortunately, last week's sales from Amazon will probably not count. This was a bad mistake by Amazon as it will harm the album's chart position in it's official release week. But you, Lothar, are lucky! Cheers, Dave

Hello folks! A 'new' compilation has been released by UCJ this month, also with the title 'A Classic Christmas'. I'm not going to start a new thread, because many of the tracks on both albums are the same. You can compare the tracklistings on the All Angels International Forum in THIS THREAD. I think a better title for the 2006 album would be 'A Classic Christmas Rip-Off'! Richard

I'm not sure where to post this, but I found a photo of Hayley recording something with Aled on his website... there's no description, but it might be from the Silent Night duet, so I'll post it here. Oksy

Hi Oksy, Well done for find ing that picture. I think you are right to assume they were recording 'Silent Night' as I am not aware that they have everded any other duet. That is still my favourite version of 'Silent Night'. Roger

Great find, Oksy! The photograph is certainly silent, so you must be at least half right! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIt's my all-time favourite version of 'Silent Night' too. Best Wishes, Richard
