Hello Lothar, and thank you for the information. It looks like another interesting double CD that features Hayley, but I'll want to hear it on a listening post before I think about buying it. I bet "Benedictus" will be the same version that's on "Pure". Best Wishes from London, Richard

Hello again Lothar! I hope you don't mind, but I've just modified your last post because you wrote your reply inside the quote instead of after it! Cheerio from London, Richard

CD „Songs of Praise“today I received the album „Songs of Praise“ from amazon.co.uk. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThis album is divided in 2 parts (CDs): First is called “Your favourite hymns". Second is called “sacred songs & arias”: All hymns are new and unknown for me. From the second I like at most songs by Andrea Bocelli, Aled Jones, Russell Watson and Hayley of course. Hayley is singing “Benedictus” It is a pity that this is the same Version as on “Pure”. Who knows this album „Songs of Praise“ too and what are your opinions about it. cu Lothar

Hi Lothar, I did buy the "Songs of Praise" CDs but not for myself - they were a present for my mother. She tells me she really likes every track but eventually decided that her favourite was 'Guide me, O thou great Jehova' sung by Bryn Terfel. I remember that she was very pleased to find that Hayley's 'Benedictus' was included as that is undoubtedly her favourite track from Pure. BTW. My mother is 89; her name is Ena so if anyone say's "hi" to her she will be greatly amused. In fact she will be a laughing hi ena. Boom boom! Keith, I'm not appreciated here, I can tell! Roger
