Hi Emmett, As far as I know, the Wuthering Heights video was never officially released. These are promo copies sent out prior to the anticipated release, which was ultimately blocked by Kate Bush's people.  Keith. |

Hi Raymond,
I think Kate Bush was trying to make a comeback and was worried Hayley's version would affect her own sales. Also I think the video was quite similar to Kate's version.

I think that is real since I have it. I have the promo single with the original video anyway. Sold for £51?! I know what to do if I ever get in a tight spot! Not sure I could sell it though...

Hayley's original video was nothing like Kate's. Kate was in a white gown waving her arms about and that was it. Hayley was actually in a house and running around the gardens.

Hi Folks.
I think I should change my name to tortoise (For being so slow)
I finally got a copy of the Wuthering Heights single with the enhanced cd video of the song Wuthering Heights I was delighted to find it was not the same as the Live from New Zealand version which I already have, but slightly disappointed it would not play in a DVD Player.
But I'm thrilled with it anyway, Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee................

How can you have a slow comet?  Congratulations on your latest acquisition. This item is fairly rare as it was withdrawn prior to release due to copyright issues but they do turn up on ebay from time to time. I have one here somewhere! Enjoy! Roger |

I have also just aquired the Wuthering Heights promo CD. It appears to be in mint condition and has on it clearly stamped "promo not for resale". I havn't yet played it, I am waiting for a few moments of "quiet" time to watch, listen and take it all in !
Roger, was this a promo for Pure do you know ?

Hi Mark, I have never heard of a 'Wuthering Heights' promo CD. I have the UK single (that was never released!) and the mini album from HK. Does your CD contain any other tracks? At the moment, you appear to have something of a rarity!  Roger |

Hi Mark and Roger, My guess is that it may be an elusive promo CD for the WH single - they would normally have sent 'em out to major radio stations a few weeks before they decided to pull the single (which was I think a late decision). As for the HK version, well that would certainly be a valuable item as I don't think there ever was a WH single or mini album there; it was Japan!   Happy bidding, Mark! Dave |

Mine sounds like your one. Does your one have: 1. 'Wuthering Heights' 2. 'Across The Universe of Time' 3. 'My Heart and I' 4. 'Wuthering Heights' Video Would you like some scans or more details about it? The cover looks just like the one on eBay. BTW I also have the HK 'WH' "mini-album" if you are interested in more details about that one. The cover has a "mirrored" photograph from the 'Who Painted The Moon Black' CD single (a younger Hayley from the 'Pure' era). I think Roger has this one too. The HK "Mini-album" CD single has: 1.'Wuthering Heights' 2. 'Pokarekare Ana' 3. 'Hine e Hine' (acoustic version) 4. Away In a Manger 5.
