I watched the video of Hayley in Ghana again the other day and I noticed something I hadn't noticed before.
When Hayley is giving the child her medicine I looked at the expression on Hayley's face. You could see love, tendeness and caring, just like a mother who loves her child. I thought it was beautiful. I could see that Hayley felt for these children too as you could see heartbreak in her eyes. The child must have thought Hayley was an angel who had come down to help her.
These kids are growing up and pain is all they know.
We've known all along how wonderful Hayley is and how much she helps, but to actually see those feelings of caring and compassion in her face was lovely.
