Thanks Dave and Steve H for the glorious photos of Hayley and the children. No doubt that Hayley would be a brilliant teacher. I suppose seeing the smiles on the children's faces say it all. That's a nice photo of Hayley and our Andrew. Nice tie, Andy! Good night Joe Hi Joe, Thanks! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAndy

Thanks Andrew, Here is one of you with Hayley. Steve The photos are great! But its obvious there that Hayley is struggling to look at that tie. Hi Jon, I should tell you that I very nearly got thrown off the plane flying to London Stanstead, when some of the cabin crew saw that tie! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRegards, Andrew

Hi Steve O, Thanks for clarifying that point - I can see where you are coming from now! I made a point earlier in this thread about just how thoughtful Hayley is. Even in school, she would not leave the school hall until she was satisfied that every child who wanted a chat or signed photo had been seen. She is indeed a cut above the rest when it comes to keeping her fame in perspective. My new Avatar (above) is a picture of Hayley publicly thanking me for my part in organising things. Her thoughtfulness is amazing, and needless to say, I will treasure the moment... Thanks, Steve H for this picture and all the others that captured the spirit of this event for future reminiscences. Stuart

Hayley remembers her phone is still switched on just before she enters the School Hall. Steve Having "struggled" to look at Andrew's tie (quote Jon S), I think Hayley just has!

Or perhaps the shock of seeing Andrew's tie is just too much for her and she's hoping she remembered to put that big pair of scissors in her bag!! (Sorry Andrew - but any excuse to keep this picture at the top of the thread!) Grant

Hi Grant and Richard, I had enough trouble getting through security at the airport... The x-ray machine made a very strange noise indeed and all the clocks around the place started chiming!!! Andrew

Hi Andrew
I don't actually think that your tie is too bad ! I must admit to wearing a tie to a business meeting on occasion that I thought was fine, only to have a number of comments thrown at me. Oh well, its all in fun I know. Mind you, I think very carefully when choosing a tie these days !!
I have got to add, that the photo of Hayley remembering to switch off her mobile phone is one of my favorites., amongst many others posted here.
Regards Mark

Hi Stuart H, To quote you: "I'm not sure I'd agree with the term "descend" - Steve O, Descend implies lowering herself " 'Transcend' is what I was thinking of when it comes to Hayley!! Surely Hayley has the kind of Star Qualities that transcend normal expectations of a celebrity!! Would Hayley even consider herself as a 'celebrity' That makes her so very special to me !! love Marianne

Even though she is, I believe she still sees herself as a teenager (just!) from Christchurch who's had a lucky break. That's what I love about her and have from the moment I first met her!! Love Grant

I thought it about time I added a few more picyures, it seems to stimulate the conversation nicely. This one is for Mariane, two ties for the price of one Steve H
