I will finish tonight with four of Hayley relaxing in the conference room, the fourth one will probably not meet everybody's approval, but I love the mystery in the pose, perhaps this one should be in the photography thread instead? Good Night all. Steve Hi Steve. Just had to comment on that last picture - The look in Hayley's eyes just captivates - a very wonderful moment captured. Normally the blurred hand would be a problem but to me it just accentuates those beautiful eyes! WELL DONE. Congratulations on all the other pictures too, you've captured a very special event in an absolutely perfect way - to see Hayley so at home in such different surroundings is a great privilege. Grant

What a wonderful achievement by everyone at the school, especially Stuart. Well done ! I bet you never thought when you first saw Hayley at HMV that it would lead to this !

I was stunned reading all of this. How many celebrities would actually "https://i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifescend:" to do something like this? I'm not sure I'd agree with the term "descend" - Steve O, Descend implies lowering herself - The Queen and Prime minister visit schools regularly. On wednesday, Hayley was talking about the commitment required from a UNICEF ambassador, and she also recognised that the money raised by the pupils will buy 400 bikes and inrease her total raised to date by 8%. Last year Hayley visited because she had heard that the pupils were big fans of her and her music, a fact that I am sure Dave, Roger, Steve and Andrew would testify to. Last Christmas, according to parents, many pupils requested her CD from Father Christmas! Stuart

I think I understand what Steve-o meant. You wouldn't see Paris Hilton or CC et al, doing this wonderful thing.
Hayley was certainly enjoying herself there. She is in fact better than most of us 'humans' - her thoughts are 'omni - directional' - dealing with many situations at once and responding to them; trying not to let anyone down.
Actually 'decent' is the word those rubbish celebs would see it as. 'Ascent' is how Hayley would describe it, I'm absolutely sure.

There surely aren't any celebrities who are as photogenic as Hayley off-stage. So natural. The photos from this event deserve to be set up in their own collage. Martin

Hi Jon, I think the use of the word 'descend' was at best unfortunate, I am sure Charlotte Church has done some great things in her career, they just probably have not had the publicity they deserve. As far as Hayley being 'Super Human' I am sure that is not how she sees herself, she is kind, considerate of others, loves her family, and strives for perfection in her career. These are qualities in many people I know, Hayley's presence at Alfred Salter Primary School touched the lives of many many children and adults. You are right that Hayley does not like letting people down, and I am sure her management team do not want her to over stretch herself, I would imagine that both Hayley and Bedlam management agreed that the visit to Alfred Salter was very worthwhile and, in recognition of the fantastic achievements the children had made in collecting so much money for Hayley's UNICEF appeal. Steve.

Hi Stuart,
I would belatedly like to add my thanks for the wonderful reports and also the many amazing photographs posted since Wednesday. I am as appreciative as everyone before me but I have had the misfortune to have been stranded in Tallinn, Estonia for two extra days after my Easyjet flight home on Thursday was cancelled. Can't go off topic so I'll just say it's been a nightmare!.
Only just catching up with the pages of wonderful photographs of that amazing day for you and your school.
Thank you Stuart
Regards,
George

Actually 'decent' is the word those rubbish celebs would see it as. 'Ascent' is how Hayley would describe it, I'm absolutely sure. I see I need to clarify myself. By descend I mean take time out of her schedule of "celebrity" events like concerts, dinners, fundraisers, etc., not to mention the fact that she spent real time here as opposed to just a quick photo-op and wave. Every time I've met Hayley she's made a point of actually visiting as opposed to just a quick hello, even in pouring-down rain in Easton and a freezing late evening in Newark, and the latter with only one fan, yours truly, granting me seven precious minutes of her all to myself. Paris Hilton isn't even worth mentioning, but it was never my intention to poke at any other specific celeb. In all fairness to CC she has in fact visited hospitals and taken pics with ill children, though not recently, and that may change going forward for reasons we needn't get into here. The point is that not many celebs do this sort of thing, and still fewer go the extra mile as was done here. Hayley went more than the extra mile, and is more than deserving of praise for so doing. BTW, that surprised look on her face is about what her face looked like when I met her after the Pops concert in 2004.

Hello Steve and Grant! That really is a fantastic photograph, and it certainly shows Hayley is human. It's probably the closest anyone has ever come to catching her in a moment of panic, but I'm sure she was sorted and settled in a click of a camera shutter, about 1/250th of a second! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard
