Many newspapers run a "this day in history" column which lists significant historical events on any given day of the year. For example, on this date in 1544 the 9th Caliphate of Instanbul invented Turkish tafffee. (not really, but you get the idea)
I propose we set up a similar thing for HWI: a daily listing of important past events in Hayley's life. By now she probably has something interesting for each day of her last few years.
Good idea?

Hi Steve
I like the idea, but how do you see it working? Doesn't it rather defeat the object if we have to search for it?
Now if there was some way a particular event could be added to the scrolling banner at the top of the page at the appropriate time - it would be there for everyone to see.
However, I don't know if that would be possible and what amount of extra work it might entail for our already busy Administrators.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Steve and Grant, Yes, it is an interesting suggestion and yes, it could be added to the rolling marquee fairly quickly and easily. But it would still necessitate a considerable amount of research and it is that which probably makes it impratical. Another difficulty is that "Today" covers the period from midnight to midnight in Greenwich Mean Time (assuming Dave or I were to insert the details - and nobody else has access to the Admin Area) but this forum covers 24 different time zones. Consequently, most parts of the world would be anything up to 12 hours out! Roger
