Hi Folks, The reason I asked that some members would post a few photos on the official forum is quite simple. IT IS THERE ! I'm backing comet on this one. I found the official forum first, and then was eventually convinced to join here too, by a regular member on the official forum. Would it be wrong to assume that most new fans would join the official forum as a starting point? I like both forums, they each have their benefits. It would be awesome some of you could continue sharing a select few photos and reviews on there for the added advertising. I respect the fact that some of you are very associated with HWI though! |

I too found the official forum first, but then was kicked out and could not login again for several months. I then joined HWI and decided that I like it better here.
A little while ago, all of the old posts disappeared and the forum restarted. I would be horrified if that ever happened to HWI, and I'm sure it won't. But it makes me distrustful about how much history might be lost at some time in the future if Hayley jumps ship to another record company or whatever.
I still go there occasonally, but do everything twice.... life is too short. It is easier just to put everything on HWI, then post a link on the official forum.
Not that I don't wish them well, I do. I just feel my limited time is more productively spent here.

Perhaps like me many are not forum people per se, or if they are they need time elsewhere but are principally here for all things Hayley. Yes, in principle one supports her official back-up but here we are for her as herself regardless and the effort we put in for the sheer pleasure of following her and interacting with so many like minds across the world gives us a return no other forum can give--or perhaps they do in terms of their discursiveness but not with the same concentration. Were the official site to attempt to ape us, they simply could not afford the money the professionalism of our management team provide for free. That I am sure is why Bedlam are so kind to us, they are for Hayley's long-term interest and recognise our sense of permanency. Peter S. |
