Have you ever thought of arranging a get-together between HWI members and Hayley as a "Thank You" for the pleasure she brings us all.
Accepting that Hayley has a very a busy schedule and that she may not even consider the idea, it would obviuosly have to be carefully arranged and held in a discrete location.
Let me know your thoughts - if feasible I might be able to help with a location in London which could provide very private surroundings and a first class meal. Feel free to E-mail.

Hi Martin and thank you for an interesting suggestion. We have indeed considered something along these lines from time to time over the past three years. In fact, there are at least two members of this forum who are still exploring the possibilities of a highly ambitious plan which was propsed several months ago.
Although your idea is to thank Hayley for all she has done, we must accept that we would still be asking her to take time out of her incredibly busy schedule. We must also bear in mind that we (the HWI Forum members) are a tiny minority of her fans among millions around the world. Even though we run a fansite for her, we have no right to ask her to give us any kind of preferential treatment. I have no doubt that she would be greatful and may even agree in principal but the long-term commitment that she would need to give is probably not a practical one.
From our members' point of view, many of them would have to book flights, hotel accommodation and make complex plans if they wanted to attend. Very recently, her German concert tour was cancelled. Our members would not be too happy if her manager contacted me within days of the event to say, "Sorry, something has come up. We can't make it."
It would be a massive undertaking with enormous risk. I am not saying it is impossible but, to be fair, it is highly unlikely and probably not practical. Nevertheless, I will pass it by her manager at the next opportunity merely to obtain his initial reaction.

Thanks for your prompt reply. All your points are valid ones and I take your advice. Let's leave the idea open and if the opportunity ever arose then I'm sure something could be arranged without too much risk - perhaps immediately after a confirmed concert or appearance.

You know, we might not be able to have a get together to thank Hayley... But why not start a new thread titled something like "Thank You Hayley" and just post things there about how much we appreciate her and how much she means to us? Much simpler, and it would still have the same effect (plus it would be there 365 days a year world-wide).
