It's daylight saving time again for most of America and Canada!
Just a reminder to adjust for DST on your Profile.
There is a box at the end of your Modify Profile screen for Currently Observing DST, select "yes".
Best wishes, Joe

Hello folks! British Summer Time and European Daylight Saving Time both begin tomorrow morning, so our members in the UK, Ireland and most of Europe should change the setting in their profiles to "Currently Observing DST: Yes". Sadly this will not have any effect on the weather! Richard

Thanks Richard, and I have to say, I think the US/Canada has a more sensible (longer) period of daylight saving than Europe. I'd prefer it to be 12 months long but if we MUST lose it in the Winter, the European period is lop-sided and (Winter time) is a month too long. November, December, January, February (or less) is all we need for "Winter" time in the northern hemisphere, March is pointless IMO, even in Scotland, and the US and Canada are closest to that. Cheers, Dave

Hello folks! Just a reminder that British Summer Time and European Daylight Saving Time both end tomorrow morning, Sunday 27 October 2013. Our members in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe should change the DST setting in your profiles. Richard

I see from the chart that Daylight Saving Time in most of the USA and Canada ends tomorrow morning, so our members there should change the DST setting in your profiles, unless you live in Arizona, Hawaii or Saskatchewan: www.worldtimezone.com/daylight.htmlRichard

Hi all,
The new forum software takes daylight saving time / summer time into account automatically, so there is no longer any need to edit our profiles.
Yay...one less clock to change!
