Hi all GMT'ers! I'll only be four hours behind instead of five! Makes me feel a little bit nearer for a week anyway! Joe

Hello everyone As no one has mentioned this yet, I though perhaps I should Anyone observing Daylight Saving Time in their profile should amend the setting from 'yes' to 'no' in order to see the correct time on the forum. Also, anyone out there with DSLR's - Have you remembered the clock in your camera . Best wishes Grant P.S. Anyone who forgot to put their clocks back an hour will be an hour late early for whatever they were planning this morning! Don't forget that this applies to the USA and Canada. Simply click "profile" then "modify profile". Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, and select "no" for Currently Observing DST.

Just a reminder for those of us in the USA and Canada to adjust your Member Profile for Daylight Saving Time early Sunday morning.
There is a box at the end of your Modify Profile screen for Currently Observing DST, select "yes".
Cheers Joe

Hello everybody! Daylight Saving Time also began this morning in all European countries except Iceland, which observes Greenwich Mean Time all year round. British Summer Time ends on Sunday 25th October 2009. Richard

So is this the same as in America where we set our clocks back 23 hours?

Relieved I'm not the only one that gets confused! I thought something was wrong but assumed it was me! Peter S.

So is this the same as in America where we set our clocks back 23 hours? Maybe it just shows who are the forward-looking? Paddy

Thanks Rodders! By my calculation, New Zealand is now eleven hours ahead of the UK, Ireland and Portugal. I hope you adjusted the clocks in your bus depot, or you'll be running an hour ahead of schedule! Richard

As British Summer Time ended this morning, just a reminder to our UK members to modify their time settings in their profiles. (Yes, another clock to change!) Where it says 'Currently Observing DST' , select 'no'.
Summer time has also ended across Europe, so the above note will also apply to our members there.

Thanks for the reminder, Joe! The Daylight Saving Time adjustment doesn't apply in Iceland, where they observe Greenwich Mean Time all year round. Richard
