Re question 9 in the new competition:
Technically speaking, is the individual in question still her manager? In recent news articles he speaks as though he's now devoting 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week, to managing a special young violinist.
Also, I've seen his named misspelled several times in the forums and this always goes unchallenged/uncorrected by the mods. Seems rather fussy to penalise for spelling now.

Hi Steve,
I will keep this slightly cryptic as you have done so as not to give anything away.
We have to assume that he is still Hayley's manager as we have not been told otherwise. (He is also the manager of other singers and groups.) Anyone who ever knew his name will know to whom the question refers and we will accept that as the correct answer.
Concerning spelling, the Mods are not expected nor required to correct spelling mistakes, gramatical errors or the like. Their role is to ensure the accuracy of information, to remove anything inappropriate, and to strive to maintain the structure of the boards. If we had to spellcheck everything we would require more moderators than members!
I accept your point about incorrectly spelled answers but to accept them as correct would be unfair over those who have spelled it correctly (as clearly specified in the question).
For the benefit of everyone, as specified in the Terms and Conditions, no further correspondence (concerning the competition) will be entered into.
Roger

I really wanted to enter this one, and thought I could pass the test easily!! (Well, I did read her book TWICE! ) But funnily enough, I couldn't answer most of the questions! I guess my 15 years are finally catching up to me! Best of luck to everyone... Hugs, Tashi

Hi Tashi and everyone, All I will say is that it is not necessarily essential to get full marks in order to win (unless someone else does!). You just need to score more than anyone else. In the event of a tie, those with the highest score will go into a draw. So go on everyone, have a go, you might be lucky. Roger

I'm not eligible to enter either, but I'm not going to get jealous. I had a look at the questions and I can't answer them all without doing some research. Good luck and have fun everybody! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Re Q9: Oh my gosh, I just realised she now has TWO people officially listed as managers! Will there be extra credit given if we name both?

wow!!Denise Robbins (UK) is so cool!!he's the winner!! congratulation !! *Though I didn't win in the competition,I really love it though.I used to think I know Hay very well.I found it I wasn't too sure about the answers while doing that.I was doubtful whether they were correct. Finally,I had to look up my Hayley Dictionary, which is her biography book. ya!So I would suggest launching the competition regularly love, Rebecca
