Recently there has been some discussion about how to type symbols such as ë, which do not appear on standard computer keyboards. If you do not have a character map installed on your computer, I have found a very useful on-line character map here.
To use the map, click on the required character and it will be displayed in the top box. Then click on 'Copy' and paste onto your post.
