Hi Andy, I'd be more than glad to help you... Have you "staged" the picture which you would like to use on a photo staging website such as: www.photobucket.com ? You can register and set up an account to store your photos there for free! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifYou need to upload your photos there and once you've done that copy and paste the "direct link" URL into the box (on your Forum Profile) which requires you to specify the location of your avatar. Remember Avatars can only be a maximum of 100 pixels x 100 pixels though! Let me know how you get on... If you want to ask anymore questions or need further clarification, send me a PM. Andrew

At a guess I'd say you need to 'host' your image (for your avatar) somewhere online. Try (you can join for free): photobucket.com/Also, have a look in the 'Technical Support' threads about posting photos, etc. Paddy

Hi, Andrew,
Now, who ever said that 'Paddy, the Scotsman'
was slower than 'Paddy, the Irishman'?
Or are you the exception?
Slán agat,
Paddy

Hi Andrew & Paddy
Just got round to sorting out my avatar, thanks to you both for your help. Hope it's ok to use this picture, as it is my favourite one. I am looking foward though, to having my picture taken with Hayley sometime, then I will use that!
Once again, much obliged.
All the best
Andy

Hi Andy, I'm delighted to hear you managed to sort out your avatar and if I may say so you have chosen a lovely picture of Hayley too (from her early 'Pure' era). It's great to have you with us here and no doubt we will indeed meet up with you very soon! All the very best, Andrew
