Hi admins,
My question: What is the meaning of the different colors of names in green, red and blue in the forum?
Greetings, Lothar

Hi Lothar,
The names which appear in red are those of the administrators of the forum (basically me).
Those in green are the global moderators of the forum (Roger, Dave and Richard)
Those in blue are the forum members.
So, red and green indicate forum staff.

Hello all, I must say that the forum members' names are a lovely shade of blue! The colour matches my HWI sweatshirt as well! Call me Mr Blue!
Lothar, we can be the Blue Man Group!

That's not fair, I have a blue HWI sweatshirt, why can't I be blue as well? I am green with envy! Oops, sorry, I just did a "Richard" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

O.K. , yes we can do it. Anybody of you visited the "Blue Man Group" show? Is the "Blue Man Group" performing in U.K. too now? I believe that 4 or 5 teams of "Blue Man Group" are existing and turning around the world with their performances. Greetings, Lothar

Hello Richard, Yeah, with a few more colors on, we could have a smashing snooker set! Perhaps pink for the ladies' names? Pot the red! (Sorry Keith!) Hello Lothar, I believe the Blue Man Group do a show in Las Vegas. Not sure about anyplace else though.

Hello Joe! I've just realised, there isn't a purple ball in snooker, so I'll have to paint it brown! I've had a great idea for the black ball. I'll get a scale model of the moon and paint it black, then the next time Hayley sings "Who Painted The Moon Black?" I can shout out "Me!" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifPeople often tell me I should be in the Crucible, while it's full of molten metal! Exit, stage left! Richard

So what is the significance of Black? Most members are in blue, and the other colours have been explained, but for some reason I and a few others appear in black. Does that mean we have been blacklisted?

Hi Martin, None of the members' names should appear in black but, if you have clicked on one to view their profile, it would appear (temporarily) in a much deeper blue which can appear black. On my screen, your name appears as blue. Altogether now... I never saw blue like that before... Roger

Martin Hi Martin, this is an old thread you have dug up from the vaults of HWI i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Why are you in black? Maybe the referee has given you a RED CARD and you have been sin binned But to be honest Martin, I haven't a clue. Anyone else know cheers, Rodders

Hello Rodders and Grant! Roger posted the answer above, so I'll repeat it below. It's on both sides now! None of the members' names should appear in black but, if you have clicked on one to view their profile, it would appear (temporarily) in a much deeper blue which can appear black. On my screen, your name appears as blue. Richard

Thanks Richard
Ah, so maybe it's because I edited my profile the other day!
Rodders,
Yes, I've learned to have a good look around before I start a new thread to ask a question that might already have been answered.
