Hi All,
I have just received an Email with the following information:

The Pipes and Drums of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are Scotland's only tank regiment and 35 years ago this elite army regiment had a No.1 single with Amazing Grace. Now they're back with a brand new album - 'Spirit of the Glen' which captures the epic, beautiful music of the Scottish Highlands. The album includes the uplifting 'Mull of Kintyre' (featuring Will Martin), Rod Stewarts 'Sailing', the powerful theme from 'Last of the Mohicans', as well as traditional Scottish ballads, a stunning new version of 'Amazing Grace' and many more.
On making the album the regiment have said 'We've had an incredible time recording this album - this is music that we love. The Pipes and Drums have travelled with us all over the world; now we're looking forward to bringing their music to an even wider audience.'
The regiment managed to record the album between tours of duty in Iraq and the album was produced by Jon Cohen, who has worked with The Back Street Boys, Vanessa Mae and the Sugababes. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards have served in all the major theatres of war during the past two centuries. HRH Queen Elizabeth II is the Colonel in Chief of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. She followed on from her Father, HM King George VI. The pipers last piped for her in 2006 at Edinburgh castle.
Spirit of the Glen is released on 26th November.
