Hi Belinda! Thanks for the information. I checked NZ Tv programmes and it looks as though the Auckland concert will indeed be broadcast on December 9th. I'll be watching of course Will Martin was also interviewed on TV3 last Friday and he did a signing at the Sylva Park Warehouse on Saturday before the Christmas Park concert. You can watch the interview here: Video interview of Will Martin. He is compared to Hayley again! Stephany

Christmas In The Park ConcertIt was a lovely hot day in Christchurch and so over 100000 people turned up for the concert. I was lucky in having tickets for the reserved area in front of the stage. While the other performers were very good, Will Martin was definitely the star of the show.It was a pity he only did two songs but I did video them. He sung The First Nowell and Going Home. You can download the songs at the link below. It is an avi file so if Windows Media doesn't play it you can try either a DivX player or a VLC Media player. www.mediafire.com/?afwyc0xfmrjPS The Christchurch Press is now On-line and you can access other Fairfax newspapers from it at the following link www.press.co.nz/digitaleditionThere is a subscription cost for the service.

I particularly liked 'Going Home' but now I'm all Christmassy again after hearing 'Nowell'. Loved when he said 'cheers' at the end - not sure it's a Kiwi thing Stephany

Hello all, I am vey curious about one thing - the fact that both Hayley and Will were in West Side Story together, that's two very well known Kiwis...Don't you think that West Side Story should be more popular here? I have never seen it advertised. I asked my local library to order it (and they did, by the way ) and Borders has just gotten theirs in recently, I have never seen it in the Warehouse... This all seems to puzzle me a bit. Why is this?? Dori

That beats me too for Australia, Dori. Here's an audio clip that Stephany just alerted me about. It's from Radio NZ & was recorded on 29th November 2007. www.mediafire.com/?bbaxdxzzxmnFile size is 48.53 Mb Mp3 & has 4 beautiful songs included on it....3 sung by Will in the studio during the Interview. Very, very good.....Graeme..... Hayley's name & innumerable qualities came up twice during the interview.

Thanks for that Graeme. I also just found what is said to be Will's personal Bebo page. HWI members - you are all experienced - is this to be believed as truly his? My sister is uncertain. You do the judging! www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4298954255Dori

Graeme, thank you very very very much for the mp3 of the interview+songs. Will Martin sings beautifully a cappella 'So Far Away', 'Cinema Paradiso', 'Nature Boy'. It's impressive to notice how inspired he is by Hayley. Dori, it is definitely Will's personal page on Bebo Stephany xx

TV One Breakfast show today (Wed 27th) had Will Martin on it. He talked about appearing before Dame Kiri at the concert in the Auckland Domain. He said he gets really nervous before each concert. He was very diplomatic about the Dame Kiri vs Hayley saga. But he did say they are completely different genres and he doesn't like having his work described as opera. He also said he hasn't had time to find his special lady so that is very much like Hayley busy enjoying performing. He is off to Europe again. He then sang a short piece of I Am My Country.
