It didn't work at first Jon, but it appears OK now. She's not really my cup of tea. (Sorry Jon, I mentioned tea!! ) Best wishes Grant

Maybe Caite and Stephany drink tea? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe mysteries of tea are still unsolved! Hi Grant, I'm sorry you don't like her. She's more of a pop queen really, but better than the usual rubbish you get, I do think she has a capable voice and maybe just maybe.... she drinks tea!

But I'm sure it initially comes from your side of the world. (and yes, I do love tea, Jon!). Thanks for sharing the link, I like some of Laura's songs but I wouldn't listen to her the whole day. Sorry Stephany

I actually love my tea! But I can't forget my black coffee either. I've heard the saying 'not my cup of tea' quite a few times in the States. I'm not able to listen to Laura's music (no speakers), but when I can I'll be sure to have a listen. <3 Caite

Hi Caite, I have a feeling you might like her. I actually caught the end of the video for her new single 'Sometimes I' on a music channel last night and instantly liked her voice, you don't actually get that many good voices in pop nowadays, that why I usually stick with classical crossover and R&B. Of course not everyone is going to like her because of her pop-orientation but I love it when artists like her come along and shake things up a bit. Get a bit of talent going on! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello Jon I wouldn't say I don't like her. I'm more inclined to say Hayley seems to be, pretty much, all the music I need at the moment, so I have great difficulty concentrating on anyone else. All Angels get played and I do sometimes listen to Classic FM in the car, but it's never long before Hayley's back. Best wishes Grant

Have listened to her but she didn't strike a chord with me (oops). She sounded more country than pop to me, but that is neither here nor there, I know. The only country singer I do enjoy listening to is Keith Urban. I enjoy his lyrics as well ( he doesn't write his own though; believes song writing is a special gift). Love, marianne

Love, marianne Hi Marianne, you write great poems and there isn't much difference between poems and songs really, so that means you have the gift! I think Laura actually sounds in the vein of Sophie Ellis Bextor, but a lot better!
