Well this is odd... I went to Rhiannon's myspace page to hear her dazzling "Cabaret" once again only to find it's been replaced by a much weaker offering, "Adele's Laughing Song". Even though she does have a superb voice, I found her version of that aria almost painful to endure. Maybe someday she'll nail it, but for the time being this is not what you want on your myspace if you're trying to create a favourable impression.

Hi Roger - I saw Haley on "Canada AM" a few years ago, and enjoyed her performance. I know of Elizabeth from here in Canada. She sings at church here (when she is not over in England!) And yes...the forum is fun reading!

Will Rhiannon become an Angel?

SINGING sensation Rhiannon Lambert has been shortlisted to win another prestigious classical music competition.

Shortly after winning a Classic FM talent competition, 17-year-old Rhiannon is in the final of a search to find someone to sing with classical group All Angels.

The George Ward pupil is one of just six to reach the final auditions next month.

The winner will become the fifth Angel and will sing with the four-strong group at the Prom on the Close concert in Bristol on July 7.

And the band's management have hinted that the winner may even be asked to join on a permanent basis.

Girls aged 13-18 from across the west were invited to the weekend's Pop Idol style audition.

James Hills, Director of Music at Clifton College, and one of the judges of the competition said: "We had a tough decision to make on audition day because the entrants were of a very high standard. The six finalists all have quite different voices and qualities, but each of them has a genuine chance of winning."

The final auditions will take place during the week of June 11, broadcast every night on ITV West for viewers to vote for the overall winner.
