Who have you seen performing live in concert? Please limit this to artists from the world of Classical / Crossover. In my case, some of these may only have performed one or two numbers at events such as the Classical Brit Awards but they all count. Since I began to follow Hayley nealry 3½ years ago, I have seen the following: All Angels Amici Forever Alison Balsom Joshua Bell Nicola Benedetti Blake Bond Alfie Boe Cantamus Jose Carreras Celtic Tenors The Choirboys Natalie Clein Juan Diego Florez Placido Domingo Duel Catrin Finch Connie Fisher Renee Fleming Mario Frangoulis Fron Male Vouce Choir G4 James Galway Lesley Garrett Vittorio Grigolo Holly Holyoake Il Divo Janine Jansen Karl Jenkins Katherine Jenkins Emma Johnson Aled Jones Keedie Nigel Kennedy Myleene Klass Lang Lang Libera Julian Lloyd Webber Natasha Marsh Amy Nuttall Opera Babes Paul Potts Alex Prior John Rutter Becky Jane Taylor Kiri Te Kanawa Tenors Unlimited Vanessa Mae Russell Watson Hayley Westenra!!! Sophie Westenra Isaac Westenra Roger

Your list is extremely impressive, Roger. Apart from Hayley, is there one artist who impressed you most? As for myself, my answer will be quick : I have seen none in live. Hopefully, Hayley will be the first.

Hi Stephany, Ouch, that's a difficult question. If I may, I will give three different answers for three different reasons. Cantamus - because theirs is not normally the kind of music that I would choose to listen to, but I enjoyed their performance much more than I expected. Mario Frangoulis - because he is the best tenor I have ever heard and he introduces a little humour into his performance and is a thoroughly nice guy. (He supported Hayley during the Pure tour in 2004.) Becky Jane Taylor - who surely has the most powerful voice I have ever heard but that doesn't reduce its beauty. She is the only singer who literally left me gasping for air. Had you asked who I enjoyed the most or who I would most like to see again (other than Hayley), that would have been very much easier. Without a doubt, All Angels. Roger

Hm,
My list isn't very impressive, I'm afraid.
I've never even seen Hayley live (I was going to see her in Germany, but all the German concerts were cancelled).
On my list are just two John Denver concerts (back in 1995 and 1997) and The Lord of the Rings Symphony this past summer.

On my list are: Hayley Westenra Sophie Westenra Isaac Westenra Fiona Pears Katherine Jenkins Mario Frangoulis Libera Holly Holyoake Choirboys Baiba Skride Annifrid Vanessa Mae Lang Lang Il Divo Hehe Roger, Were you at the Palladium on March 29, 2004? Then you should add Libera to your list, as well as Sophie and Isaac . And you were at Llandudno, November 2004 - that's where Holly performed live. So you can make your list even more impressive i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. Gerrit P.S. All of the other artists on my list are only included because they performed at a concert at which Hayley also performed ....

Hi Gerrit, Thanks for the reminders. I considered including Holly's name but decided against it simply because she only sang a duet with Hayley. I have never heard her perform solo (unless you count her improptu rendition of 'O Mio Babbino Caro' in the Car Park for the benefit of a few HWI members!). However, I have now added all your suggestions to my list. Whilst travelling to and from various concerts, Dave often bursts into song in the car. Should I add his name too? Roger
