Haha, it's beginning to sound like her whole space mission thing. Whatever happened with that, anyway? All that was ever said that it was postponed due to personal reasons, or something to do with family, or some such explanation. Not that I mind that she's not going after all, but there were some who thought it was all just for media hype.. I don't, but some apparently doubt her authenticity.

I suspect that Sarah cancelled her space trip because a test flight of Virgin Galactic in 2014 crashed killing the co-pilot. A more robust development and test project is ongoing with Virgin but it will be a long time before she reconsiders the idea. Martin

Oh, really? I never heard anything about that. Understandable, under the circumstances! Media hype, huh? I never believed that notion for a second.

Sarah actually did her livestream this time. The only album info we got was that the album is in the heavens instead of space this time, according to a friend of Sarah's. And, Frank said at the end that it might be out the end of this or the beginning of next year! Now I don't know if we have ANY album to look forward to this year (Hayley's dragging her feet, as usual). I found the video an hour after it was posted (or started), and I probably had to refresh the page and start it over 5 times, because the video kept stopping. In order to get it to work again I had to refresh the page, and find where I left off on my own. Clicking the play button on it when it stopped only enlarged it and told me "something went wrong". Finally, after the last time that happened, I was able to watch it with no more interruptions.

It will be quite an album if we get that many songs through various editions of the album. Exciting! Like that the theme could be dubbed as the heavens. It brings to mind a lot of Classical music like Mozart and maybe the early works of Beethoven. Quite interested in seeing how this project comes along and the final product. Honestly, I am happy things are getting pushed off with some of my fave artists. This year's big goal was to redecorate my new house I bought the 2nd half of last year. Been working like a dog to try and get caught up so I haven't yet gotten to redecorate it. For me that is a daunting task cause I am not the creative type. So I am getting excited to get my house and life finally in order. Plus last year I attended 15 shows and took 4 trips which ultimately left a BIG dent in my piggy bank. So this is welcome news to me. More time to save. I know that is not what you want to hear! But I needed at least a year to lay low and recover, which it's turning out to be that way. The only new album I will being buying probably is a new Blackmore's Night album coming out some time this year. And maybe something Josh Groban. We'll see.....

I was thinking the Josh album would be next year. I'm not sure how long the Comet show is running (consecutively), but I did read that someone else is replacing him in July. So, that likely means summer vacation and some album work. Despite this slightly discouraging news about Sarah's album possibly being pushed into early next year instead of this, I do tend to be of the opinion that it will be this year. But, maybe later is better; the later it is, maybe the better the chances are for a spring/summer US tour, as opposed to a fall/winter one. As mentioned before, my sister will be far more likely to agree to go to with me if we don't have to commute in the pouring rain. But, either way, the closer the better. Same with Mario. Now, he did say something about a tour this summer, so I have my hopes up a bit. And, still holding out a tiny bit of hope that he'll tour with Sarah in the US again.

From the twit above, Josh has been in the studio recently, which tells me he is working on it as we speak. I don't know how, but he is. Hence why I think we will get something. Plus since the last album was all covers, and he did say when he was working on "Stages" that he was concurrently working on a new self-penned album, that I'm sure the material is there. He just needs to get in the studio and record it. So I think this year we will get it. AND you also have the Great Comet, and the Original Broadway cast idea that I'm sure they (Josh/record label/etc) will want to release after Josh leaves in July. As far as Sarah is concerned, Frank may be trying to clam the hysteria in the fan base. lol I have a feeling the fans are generally wanting this out in the summer for a fall/winter tour, and Frank is just trying to pour some cold water on that high expectation. In business a delivery technique is to "under promise and over deliver". I wondered if that is what Frank is doing here. But if Frank and Sarah's goal has always been Sept/October/November time frame to release the CD, then it becomes tight to have a fall/winter tour this year. Releasing the CD this year won't break the piggy bank (and that is fine by me!), but the tour will since Sarah's tickets are pricey. And if anyway, Sarah did release "Symphony" in January 2008. So it could barely be in next year. haha And we have another clue. The new album will feature a choir!

In that case, do we dare hope that Hayley's seemingly interminable silence (in regards to her music, at least) could be underpromising? It's a nice thought, but I'm afraid cynicism has pretty well set in, for my part. It's really hard to imagine her album coming out at all, ever, mostly because she refuses to divulge a single thing about it. I don't really consider the GL video divulging, because, while she introduced a new song to her fans which will most likely be on her next album, she didn't even say one single word about that. So, really, she hasn't given us a single verbal hint about the album.. an album, whenever.

The news of this tour was announced a few days ago. There was also another post announcing that there will be other European dates in November, but they did not elaborate any further. http://www.instagram.com/p/BSN-NdQjUqW

Here is the official trailer of the Gala Tour: From the songs being played, sounds like a "heavenly" performance that Sarah will deliver.
