Stefanie Rose (Airey) is certainly a top class soprano with a very bright future. We have been keeping up to date with events around Stefanie through the MSN Group Young Classical Sopranos.
She looks like another very exciting artist to follow.

Stefanie Rose definitely has a great voice. Since she hasn't produced an album that I could find, I downloaded about 15 beautiful songs from her website and made my own. I particularly like the Forever Hymn.

Actually, Stefanie's dad keeps me informed at regular intervals, either privately or by posting on the MSN group, of new developments. By the way Keith, I think you're getting groups at MSN mixed up  . Of all the wonderful singers I've found through Young Classical Preformers / Sopranos, I have to say Stephanie is my favourite. Three reasons: 1. Her voice has a lot of texture. Some of the earlier clips have a bit of a "hollow" sound to them, but in her later work her voice sounds velvety and very full. 2. She puts a lot of emotion and feeling into her singing without "acting out" the words, creating a strong, natural atmosphere. 3. I LOVE her choice of songs. If I had a voice like that, I would choose the exact some songs for my CD (except maybe the techno tracks). Great sense of style. I think I'll make my own CD too.  |

Wow! What a lot of lovely songs to download! Sefanie seems to be very acomplished as a singer, it'll be interesting to see where her voice will take her.

Yes there is! I just can't carry a tune properly. But I don't really mind. I sing my heart out when I'm alone or with my parents. Just not in front of anyone else. |
