Hi everyone, A new songbook featuring many of Celtic Woman's songs has just been released. Their website indicates that it's is for sale on Amazon.com, but I was not able to locate it. If anyone finds it, please let me know. I am interested in learning many of these tunes on guitar. Thanks, Gene

Yep, it is HERE Gene. There is no image available and (so far) not song list. If you were to order it anyway, you could be the first to publish it! Roger

Yep, it is HERE Gene. There is no image available and (so far) not song list. If you were to order it anyway, you could be the first to publish it! Roger Thanks Roger. I sent Amazon an email a couple of days ago telling them that there was no link to the book on their website. This time, when I did a search for it, it came up......right to the page that you indicated. Sounds like someone's listening. Thanks for your help. I wrote Celtic Woman back in March asking if a songbook from their Slane Castle concert would be published. They indicated that one would be issued by summer. Although it's a little late, I would therefore imagine that many of the songs in this offering would be from the Slane Castle event. I'll be purchasing the book and will post the song list on HWI. Perhaps we could all start our own HWI band and follow the girls where ever they go? I'm reserving lead guitar for myself! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI sure hope that we won't have to grow long hair!! Thanks again and best regards, Gene

Thanks for the songlist, Gene. As I no longer have a guitar, I would only require the book as a collector's item. I suspect, though, that any photographs or information on Hayley will be a repeat of what has appeared elsewhere. I will therefore await your advice once you have received your copy before ordering one myself. Now, whatever happened to that guitar? Roger

Hi Northern Lights,
As the book was published in October 2007 by which time Hayley had already left CW, I suppose it was never likely that it would include more than 2 or 3 pics of her. Do I gather you now have the book, Northern Lights?
Roger

yes I do, and its great BUT it is very hard to get to stay open because it is thick and the binding is like that of a soft cover book, but when you're playing an instrument, you can't really hold it open, but great book anyway! for singing it works very well!

I love this songbook! The piano is fairly easy and I can accompany myself to all my favorite Celtic tunes. It's especially great because everything is written in such a nice mezzo range, which brings another question; I know Orla is an alto, but are the other girls really sopranos? Anyhow, I would recommends this book to anyone it really is lots of fun. My only complaint is that they left out some of the songs like, "May it Be" and "Sing Out" which would have been lots of fun to have.
