This has nothing to do directly with Hayley but I just wanted to point out that a show "Celtic Man" is about to be created by the same producers of CW.

Legendary composer/songwriter Phil Coulter is looking for solo male vocalists for a new TV/stage show he is collaborating on with producer Sharon Browne.

Ms Browne is the creator of Celtic Woman, the show which has sold more than €2 million CDs/DVDs and has played coast to coast in the USA.

The pair will be in Galway on Thursday April 5 to find a man in Galway for their new show Celtic Man. The venue is in the Galway Bay Hotel and auditions will begin at 8pm.

They said last week, “We are not looking for boy band wannabees but rather singer, aged 18-45, who, apart from a voice, have got personality, presence, and that little something extra called star quality.”

WOW, thank you for that Stephany. This news is of particular interest to me as I am a great admirer of Phil Coulter and have 12 of his CDs! I can well imagine him being involved in a production such as this and I look forward to hearing the results in due course.

Celtic Woman has sold over 2 and a half million CD’s and has had 5 hugely successful coast to coast live Tours in the USA. Celtic Woman has played Carnegie Hall, Radio City and performed for St. Patrick’s Day in the Whitehouse in March 2007. They have toured Japan and will commence touring in Africa, Australia, Asia and Europe in the next year.

I didn't know the CW tour would be extended to other continents. Although Hayley probably won't be "in", it should be interesting to see them performing around the world.

Now, Coulter is set to launch Celtic Man and is auditioning for talent in Glasgow next Wednesday. Coulter insists it isn't a boy band. "It's a man band and we're looking for five singers aged 18 to 45, each with a distinct personality and each with stage presence, but we're looking particularly for a strong Scottish voice."

For the chosen singers, the potential, says Coulter, is limitless.

Auditions for Celtic Man take place at Jury's Inn, 80 Jamaica Street, Glasgow, on Wednesday April 11 from 1pm to 8pm.

"Celtic Woman has sold out five US tours, the CD has sold two million and it's gone on to Japan, the Far East and New Zealand - and I think that, selling five guys, this has the legs to go even further."
