I was aware that each of the girls in Celtic Woman had produced at least one solo album but I didn't realise until now that all five of them (plus Deirdre, who is lo longer associated with them) released on the same date: 10th January 2006. In the hope that some of you have one or more of them, I thought I would start a thread specifically for those solo albums. And if you haven't, maybe this will encourage you! ______________________________ Chloë ~ Walking In The AirWalking In The Air The Prayer Nella Fantasia Someday Vivalidi's 'Rain' (From 'The Four Seasons') Going Home Panis Angelicus Vincent/Starry, Starry Night Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring To Where You Are One World Sigma Winter's Light (From 'Secret Garden') Brahm's Lullabye Gabriel's Oboe

I didn't know they all had solo albums so thanks for posting this thread, Roger.
I notice that they have a lot of similar songs on their albums : "Carrickfergus" is on Lisa and Orla's albums, "She moved through the Fair" is on Orla and Meav's, etc. I would be curious to hear Orla's version of "The Water is Wide".

Hi Stephany, It would certainly be interesting to compare the different versions of those songs. Hopefully I will one day. I deliberately didn't mention this when I made those opening posts but I already have Lisa's album which is absolutely gorgeous. I currently have Chloe's and Meav's on order, and will be placing a further order for the other two quite soon. Roger

Too bad "Shenendoah" isn't on Mairead's CD because I would probably have purchased it without hesitation. When I watch the CW concert on my DVD; I can't help thinking : "that woud be great if Hayley could join Mairead on Shenendoah and start singing!!" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm now curious to see how the other girls' career will evolve. Looking forward to their next solo albums. I seriously doubt they will have more success than Hayley but still, it would be great if they could make their way as solo artists because they sure have great talent!

Yeah, they're a group of talented ladies. I have Lisa's, Meav's, Mairead's, and getting Chloe's DVD soon. I just need to add a few more solo albums to my collection Meldy

I ordered Lisa's CD for my little sister's birthday because she is a HUGE fan of her voice. If I'm lucky, she will share the CD with me :rollin
