Just want to say Greetings to All as I help myself to the feast that is HWI. You guys really know how to throw a party! The site is very impressive, and I look forward to checking in often. Please don't ask why I took so long to jump in, but I do the same thing every time I go the beach in June. I know I will love the water as soon as I am swimming in it, but I the anticipation gets me every time. No worries, though. Once in, I have no trouble coming back for more. And by the way, did you all read Hayley's new blog entry on her official site? (I'm sure you did but I thought it polite to ask!). Are you excited about all the secret projects she's up to or what!!!
Everyone, take care. Like you, I just can't get enough of Hayley!

Thanks for your replies Steve H, Grant, Mariannek, Comet, Stephany, Richard, and Joe. I love so many of Hayley's songs--all of them really--but if I had to pick six for my emergency kit today (today, mind you, tomorrow no doubt would be different) I would choose Prayer, Dark Waltz, Summer Fly, Mary Did You Know?, Ave Maria, and the Last Rose of Summer duet. However, I especially love Somewhere and Bright Eyes on Hayley Westenra (and everything else on that album) and EVERYTHING on Pure, Odyssey, My Gift to You and Celtic Treasure, so they would just have to be smuggled on board somehow. On second thought, there are just too many choices. I cannot pick! Thanks again to all of you. I am really enjoying this site.

Welcome klassical. You seem to have got the hang of us here pretty quickly, so I hope familiarity won't disappoint. Look forward to reading your further posts and sharing your ideas and thoughts.

Thanks, too, to Peter, TimJ, Mark, Roger (I so appreciated your comments in the official forum awhile back), Mark, and, of course, Meldy, my fellow So Cal buddy. Now that my work is not so crazy, I hope to post more comments on HWI as well as the official site. By the way, I love hearing Hayley's comments as I'm tuning into this site, but when I move to the forum, I am flooded with a cacophony of discordant songs...all of which would be wonderful if played separately, of course. I'm not sure what that's all about. Is it the site or something unique about my computer? Anyway, a belated Summer Solstice to everyone. Remember to "gather ye rosebuds while ye may." (I'm not trying to 'rub it in" because I live in a climate that produces roses all year long....it's just that I used to live in a more northerly latitude and still feel the magic of the summer breeze upon summer's official arrival in the northern hemisphere.) Anyway, I salute you all and look forward to digging into the forum's summer fare!
