Hi Roger, I understand that it's unreserved seating so I suppose it means we'll also have to wait in the cold before the concert Oh wait, we're talking about an April concert so hopefully it'll be warmer in the UK by then? Stephany

Hello everybody! I'll probably buy a Premium ticket for St. Paul's Cathedral. Purple Dragon's website confirms the tickets will be on general release from tomorrow, 19th December 2007. www.pdplive.com/Richard

Ditto your post 17, Richard--despite the accoustics? I knew of a chap so pedantic about sound that he built his own concert hall on the end of his house! But then, he was an accoustics engineer!
I've come here via All Angels site where I announced my Premier ticket for St Paul's and announce here my acquisition of F14 at Buxton. So my 'Easter holiday' is booked in principle. All I have to decide is how long I stay and where I go while up there and then book hotels.
It is funny, as a printer I have been used to doing things out of season, such as printing Christmas cards in mid-summer and used to long-term booking of factory schedules but somehow I suddenly don't like booking so far ahead. Perhaps its old age but no wonder Hayley feels she is shooting through her life, committing her diary, at least in principle if only in outline two years ahead, for the next two years could well be critcal in terms of placing herse for key events in key places around which everything else must juggle.
Low and behold as I type, Buxton have just confirmed my booking! My tummy has just reminded me I haven't stopped for lunch, so I depart to make a cheese and onion sandwich and then try and sort out some organisation about Christmas buying.
Chow for now, by the by, I think Easter this (gosh I mean 2008) year is the earliest it can ever be? Grant, you are more familiar with church calendar calculations?

Hi Everyone,
If I was just going the one concert then I would perhaps consider a V.I.P ticket but as I am going to two I just wouldn't be able to afford it, and I am not sure it is worth it anyway.
I am looking forward to the concerts anyway, it will be good to meet everyone again as well as some new faces too.

Hi Stephany,
The only thing that we know for sure about the British weather in April (or any other month) is that we there will be some! I think we can assume it will be warmer than it is now but April is often showery. Hopefully, we will have access to the cathedral at least an hour before the start of the concert and we may be able to explore the area prior to that and keep an eye on the gathering crowds from time to time.
Hi Dazza,
You can never be certain what these VIP tickets will entitle you to. Sure, we have all read the blurb but there is no indication of how long the meet and greet might last, or how many VIP tickets are available. It may be well worth the money but we know for a fact that a similar arrangement for a certain US tour led to much disappointment (to say the least).
My personal preference is to go for a Premium ticket which at least eliminates the possibility of an obscured view, and simply enjoy the concert. If we get the chance to have a quick word with the girls afterwards, so much the better but if we don't, there will be other chances. As ever though, ya pays yer money and ya makes yer choice.
Roger

Hello everybody! I believe the VIP meet and greet at St. Paul's Cathedral will be in the crypt before the concert, so there should be a good chance of meeting the girls afterwards. Richard

Just purchased a couple of Premium tickets online for St. Pauls.
See you there! (and then at Buxton two days later).

Hi Richard, It only took me two attempts to book online and so, it seems, I am going. My main concern is that seats are unallocated and they are advising everyone to get there early to ensure a good one. If we are paying 37 quid, we shouldn't have to. If this tour was to be in conventional concert venues, I would look at the possibilty of going to several of them, perhaps all of them. As they are in cathedrals, where the acoustics are often unsuitable, the sound systems are sometimes questionable and the lighting is pathetic, I will limit it to only one. Roger

Also, with unallocated seating the venue has the opportunity to sell as many VIP tickets as it can (within manageable numbers) thus pushing back the start of premium seating. Martin
