I've just been looking at the BBC's website, and it appears that All Angels and Nicola Benedetti will be the guest artists on 'Friday Night is Music Night' from LSO St. Luke's on 4th January 2008.

From LSO St Lukes in London, Ken Bruce presents the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Martin Yates, with guests including violinist and former BBC Young Musician of the Year winner, Nicola Benedetti, plus classical girl group All Angels.

I'm sure this concert is subject to confirmation, but I hope to attend. LSO St. Luke's is in Old Street, about 300 yards west of the station.

Hello folks!

According to Daisy's blog on Digital Spy, All Angels have already recorded their spot for Friday Night is Music Night, so we won't be able to go after all.

We also recorded our section for Friday Night Is Music Night with the BBC Concert Orchestra, which we really enjoyed! You'll be able to listen to our performance on Radio 2 in mid-January - we'll let you know the dates soon.

Never mind, we'll still be able to listen to the girls on the radio.

Just a reminder that All Angels should be appearing on BBC Radio 2's 'Friday Night is Music Night' tomorrow, 4th January 2008, between 7:30pm and 9:15pm.

The following information from the BBC Ticket Unit proves how difficult it is to get tickets for a specific show. This is for the shows from 18th January to 29th February inclusive.

Friday Night Is Music Night

For more than 50 years Friday Night has been Music Night and we can now offer you tickets for the early 2008 dates of this Radio 2 favourite. Featuring the BBC Concert Orchestra, these concerts are a highly enjoyable evening out.

This year the process for tickets is changing due to the overwhelming reaction we have had over the last couple of years and to make the selection process fairer.

If the date listed above is not your preferred date, click on 'back' and choose the best date of recording for you.

To enter the Friday Night Is Music Night ticket random draw for the early 2008 series, phone lines and email registration forms are now open and will remain open until Thursday 3 January 2008 at 5.00pm. No applications will be received after this date. Please also note that applications for tickets will only be received by phone or via this website.

**It doesn't matter when you apply as all successful applicants will be randomly drawn on Friday 4 January. Each person will only be able to receive tickets for two shows and a maximum of four tickets per show. If you apply for more than two recordings, BBC Studio Audiences will randomly select the two dates you will be eligible for tickets for and process that application.**

In your application please provide all contact information including email and daytime contact number.

Please note that entering the random draw does not guarantee tickets and you will only by notified in the event that you are successful in receiving tickets.

I missed this (someone on "Corrie" lost his dog !!) but you can hear this again on the BBCiplayer (bbc.co.uk/radio2). Fast forward around 15mins to "Enigma", 25 mins to "Sull'aria", 1hr 12mins to "Sound of Silence" and 1hr 30min to "Singing you through." ENJOY !!

Hi Jeff,

The first song that the girls performed was 'Sancte Deus', and it is a song that I am really glad they performed, being one of my favourites it is one that I have wanted to see them perform live but haven't yet, at least I have heard it live now though.

All four performances were absolutely beautiful, I really enjoyed listening.
