Hi Stephany, Oh, what a shame. Thank you for trying anyway. At least we know now. Roger PS. I just voted for you! PPS. Well, I didn't vote for you because your name wasn't listed as a nominee but I voted on your behalf! PPPS. Why didn't I just say that in the first place?

Hi Gerrit, According to the All Angels newsletter (dated 21st March), it will be broadcast on ITV 1 on both dates. If that has changed, I am not aware of it and I don't know where Richard got his information from. By the time the event takes place, we should have the relevant programme listings but we can always check it out with Steve A on the night if necessary. I must say, I have never known it be repeated before. Roger Hello Roger, Gerrit and everybody! The information came from the All Angels newsletter I received by email on Tuesday 17th April. There was no mention of the 6th May broadcast in this newsletter, but I'll check the TV listings carefully before the date. Best Wishes, Richard

Yes, you're quite right Richard. The recent newsletter only mentioned 13th May. Now we have conflicting information from the same source, I think we should assume the most recent to be correct. As you suggest, we will check the listings nearer the time but it starts to look as though the only broadcast will be on 13th.

Hi all, The information on brits.co.uk/classical/2007/ has changed. It now says: Televised in the UK: ITV 1, Sunday 13th May - 11pm Repeated: ITV 3, Sunday 20th May - 8pm The peculiar thing is, not too long ago, the dates listed were 6th May and 13th May. So it would seem that the original plans have been delayed by a week! Still, it would be well to check ITV listings for May 6! Gerrit

Hi I hope to meet HWI members attending The Classical Brits on 3rd May. Gerrit will be two seats away so I won’t miss him! I would recommend that anybody using London Underground obtain an Oyster card. Single “cash” tickets bought at a station now cost a minimum of £4 per journey as opposed to £1.50 on Oyster for central London. You have to pay a refundable deposit of £3 for “pay as you go cards”. I found an interesting article about Joshua Bell, the violinist from The USA, who is performing this year- www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/04/04/AR2007040401721.html He performed “incognito” at Washington metro station at rush hour and the sad fact is only 7 out of 1097 stopped for at least a minute to listen. Tony

Hello Tony! I'm delighted to hear you're going to the Classical Brit Awards, so I'll be looking out for you. Steve, you met Tony and Anne at Wisley last year. They're sitting behind the empty seat in this photograph. Nine days to go! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

Hi Tony,
I am delighted to know we will be seeing you again next week. I think it is safe to assume that Joshua will have a few more attentive listeners in the Royal Albert Hall!

Hello Tony and Roger! There'll be a large crowd waiting outside the Royal Albert Hall, so this could be a perfect opportunity for Joshua to brush up his busking skills! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Tony Hi Tony, I can also be recognised on the night by wearing an "official Katherine Jenkins forum" badge .... I won't begrudge either All Angels or Fron Male Voice Choir a victory in this year's Classical Brits - but as webmaster of KJI I am all out for supporting Kath to get her third successive Classical Brit award Cheers, Gerrit

Hello everyone, The Classical BRIT Awards programme was broadcast on ITV1 a few hours ago and one performance of each artist who took part was shown. Sancte Deus (Nimrod) was selected for All Angels and you can now see it here on the AAI website You will need a broadband internet connection to view the video. If you would like to read all the reports and see all the brillliant photos taken by the All Angels fans, they can be found starting from here in the AAI forum!Cheers, Dave
