This is great news, Roger.
I am really looking forward to seeing All Angels. Denise and I have Block H, Row 1, Seats 22,23. So will certainly see you there.
There is much info being released tonight! I was about to write and question whether it would be possible that Hayley would be there too. I see her CW shows end on 5th April and start again on 4th May in California. The Brit Awards are on 3rd May. Is it a mere coincidence or is it possible Hayley could be there? It seems too much to imagine Hayley will fly back to California the next day, even with an 8 hour time difference.
Thanks for all the new updates,
George

Hi George,
As you say, the eight hour time difference would work in her favour and make it technically possible but I really don't think she would want to perform so soon after a long flight. We know that flihts affect her voice (temporarily) and I don't think she would take that risk. Having said that, nothing would surprise me where Hayley is concerned!
I will be in Block M, Row 1 so you might see me but you'll need your binoculars! I think we I will be almost exactly opposite you! I am sure we will meet up somewhere during the evening. I certainly intend to be there early for the photoshoot of the artists arriving.

Hi Roger, Thanks for the Info, I have booked Stalls K1 seat 52 and 53 for Myself and Stuart, I hope they are using the Arena and not the stage, can you remember how it was laid out last year. Hi Gerrit, Richard, George and Denise, Hopefully we will get to meet up on the day! See you all there! Steve H

Hi Steve,
For the CBA's the arena is always closed to the public. Artists and their guests (including record company execs) are seated at tables there. Those who win awards have to walk from their table and ascend the steps to the left of the stage (as you face it). They are situated immediately in front of the front row of Stalls Block G.
The performances and the presentations take place entirely on the stage.
See you there, folks!

Here is the seating plan for the Royal Albert Hall. Sorry the quality isn't brilliant but the original has been well used! You should be able to see the letters A to F which represent the six Blocks in the Arena. These will be laid out with tables for the artists during the CBA's. They even get fed! The Stalls contain (from the left and then counter-clockwise) Blocks G, H, J, K, L, M and O. (There is neither I nor N). Outside the Stalls (on the plan but above in reality!) are three tiers of boxes. You may just be able to see the Royal Box (actually marked "The Queen's Box) towards the bottom right of the plan. It appears in front of Circle Block V. This is actually two boxes knocked into one. Outside (or above) them is the Circle containing Blocks P to Y. There is no Block Z because they ran out of space! Above the Circle but not shown on the plan is the Gallery. This is standing room only and only used for certain events (such as the Last Night of the Proms. So now you know where you will be! Roger

...And for a better impression of what this magnificent venue really looks like, this piccy is taken from the RAH Souvenir Guide: This was taken from above the stage, probably somewhere in the East Choir looking towards the back of the auditorium. Roger

Thank You for the pic Roger. I must confess that I love that building for its own sake. Of course Hayley gracing it by her song magnifies that by about 10. I adore her 'All Things Bright & Beautiful' sung there...a masterpiece. We also have the Les Miserables musical DVD held in that venue with all the different Valjeans singing "can you hear the people sing....." That's a must have in my opinion. Breathtaking. Graeme
