... we have a brilliant management team, and a great extended “Family” of Hayley fans and friends. I reflected on this last night. It's quite amazing when you think about it. I would love meet so many people here. Like the sun, they are warm and bright, yet so far away. |

My thanks once again for all the encouraging and favourable comments that have appeared on this thread. The wording in my signature, chosen at least three years ago, was never more true than now.

Yes, well done! 50,000 posts is quite a remarkable accomplishment for any forum.
I believe that HWI Forum started in July 2003. I joined four months later and I remember there being 20 or so other members at that time.
I did a rough daily post average of 33 posts per day for the 4 1/2 years that the forum was begun.

No doubt Roger will be able to provide a daily average. Who are you calling average?  Joe is quite right in saying the forum was started in July 2003. To be strictly accurate, it is 1560 days old today. The average number of posts per day is therefore 33.01. The highest number of posts we have ever received in one day is 247 on 11th April 2007. No, I didn't calculate any of that. I have a speadsheet riddled with formulae. All I have to do is input the latest total and it calculates it automatically.  Roger |

Thank you Grant, Joe and Roger for your clarifications and for the "numbers".
And, to acknowledge our 150,000 visitor, I'm throwing a party in his or her honor. It will be at my tent, here in the states. I'm negotiating with Hayley's manager this very minute to see if she can perform at the event. No, not the manager.....Hayley. Goodness, good talent is VERY expensive, but well deserved!

Hi James, All I can say is well done you because you must have been the 170,000th! Just for the record, we have achieved that figure in 1649 days which gives us a daily average of just over 103 visits. The most number of daily visits was 369 on 8th April 2007.
