Just a quick post to say hello.........I've never had the inspiration to join a fan web site or write about anyone until now! Hayley truly has an amazing voice. I've never quite heard anything like it! I first heard her on the Celtic Woman PBS special. All I remember is saying Wow! right though Scarborough Fair! I managed to pick up Oddyssey and Celtic Treasure and was further floored!
My only regret is not knowing about her sooner. She appeared with ll Divo in my hometown of Worcester MA a year ago! If I only knew!
Here's to hoping for a New England (solo!) appearance sometime down the road!
Congratulations on the new album and I'm looking forward to many more!
Paul

My only regret is not knowing about her sooner. She appeared with ll Divo in my hometown of Worcester MA a year ago! If I only knew! Hi Paul and a very warm welcome to the forum!! I have a similar regret because she performed in Paris in May 2006 and it is unfortunate that I didn't know about her sooner. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here and I look forward to your future posts. Take care, Stephany

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'll try to "look in" whenever I get a moment, and try to participate whenever I can. I am now so impressed not only with her voice, but what she does for charity work and how she tries to make an extra effort to meet with people! Hope she never loses any of that. Her personality from what I've seen matches her voice.......almost! (yea... I've been lookig at the site!)............That also is pretty special in its own right............. Martin: I must admit I attended the Boston show March 10th..........Celtic Woman was fantastic, especially the second half of the show.......My friend and I really enjoyed it. She and I were standing and cheering at the end, and we were in the balcony!
Haley did a great job with Scarborough Fair and Dulaman..........Hopefully someday we'll get to hear her solo!
Take care, Paul

Hello Paul, I'm fairly new here as well, but have already learned a lot about Ms. Hayley and her amazing support staff here at HWI and elsewhere. Glad you were able to see the CW show in your area. I too have seen them perform and my reaction was quite similar to yours. (Though I was sitting beside two ladies who were born in Ireland...and they tried their best to teach me a little about some of the words in the songs...to little avail). Either way, welcome to the forum from a fellow American (who also wishes he would've known about Ms. Hayley sooner). -Eric
