Oh....yes i like that one..., totally different.............looks like Dubliners, I've seen that group several times in the Netherlands. I found on a classic compilation cd , a version of Pokarekare ana from Kiri Te Kawana, and there is a version from Sissel too!! Maybe we can hold a competition, finding the most different versions of one song???JOYCE.

I first heard Hayley on Billy Connollys World Tour New Zealand and decided I will get Billys CD as his songs are pritty good. He has "Pokarekare Ana" "The Rose of Sharon" "The Cuckoo" "Banjo Reel" and a few others on it, which are good. Loved his version of "In the Dreamtime" by Ralph McTell. Very good. Only slightly off topic but I just retrieved this photo of my son (the tall one without the beard) from 04/05/04 : This was an extract from his diary whilst on gap year world tour: We set off the next day for the last day of our tour which took us from the Glacier back to Christchurch, with a lunch stop at the historic Arthurs Pass on the way. Anyway at this lunch stop we met another guy from the UK, not english but from just north of the border, said his surname was connolly and tells jokes for a living apparently. Yes we actually met BILLY CONNOLLY at a cafe in the middle of no-where! He's out here at the moment filming for a TV show which is basically him driving round new zealand on his trike and doing shows in small venues. The guy is a legend tho as he let us take photos, sign autographs and even play with his famous trike before he decided enough was enough when we asked him to do some interesting poses with our inflatable kiwi mascot.

Thanks. Might just get Biography and "Walking in the air" poster. Would be great to have. Why where the singles never released anywhere else? Also whats the new versions of: Wuthering Heights (new version) Pokarekare Ana (new version) One song I have not yet heard is "The mummers dance" Thinking of getting "Water is wide" promo. Whats on that? Maybe I am spending just a bit too much latley, but want these. Hi Dave To the best of my knowledge "The Mummers Dance" is only on the Japanese release of 'Odyssey' You can get this from CDuniverse . HEREThe "Water Is Wide" is a one track promo which is now quite rare. Best of luck with this one! Best wishes Grant Edit: Nothing on Ebay at the moment The Mummers Dance is also on the special edition of Pure, available at CDJUNGLE click here for product info! Enjoy!
