New... Again

Hello All... My name is Josh. I joined this site about a year ago. But I haven't been back for a year. I guess my account faded away.
The reason for my absense was that I got married, and university got hectic. But I am back, and I have control over my times.
Just to sum up how I came in contact with Hayley Westenra, was when I served a mission in Perth Australia in 2004-2005. I noticed her cd Pure. Bought it. And have been a fan ever since. I attended her concert in Minneapolis last year.
Any how, thats that. I plan to hang around for a while now.
Interesting to see how many members there are. Especially on the link @ Hayleys website. Now over 1000 members. I am excited and jealouse at the same time. The core of us that were to faithful at the beginning, I hope we don't get forgotten. And I am glad to see all the new faces, fans and supporters of hayley.

Hi Josh and welcome back. I thought I recognised your display name! Belated congratulations on your marriage. I've heard some excuses for not checking this forum but that one should win a prize!

Between you and me, I wouldn't take too much notice of the membership levels on the official forum. Something like 70% of them have never posted and I suspect many of their accounts haven't even been activated.

There is no chance of us being forgotten. We are in regular contact with Decca, Hayley's management team and her family. Anyway, we can shout loud if we have to!

Please feel free to hang around for as long as possible!

Hi Josh, welcome from a 'newbie' to you who's clocked up 2,000 posts in your absence! No excuses needed to reconnect with Hayley, only excuse needed is for leaving! But your preoccupations sound excusable enough!

Look forward to hearing more from you. I love the international aspect here, interacting with people around the globe. It is amazing how many come froma areas I know, have visited or with which I have family contacts!

A warm welcome back to the forum from me too. I also originally joined Hayleys official forum in 2005 and then didnt log in for a while, so guess that my old account also became void.

Anyway, I am sure that you will find all that you need here on HWI. As Roger has said, we always seem to know first here when there is any news of Hayley .

We are in the same boat here in Australia....when will she give another concert here ??
We weren't aware of her when she visited during her PURE tour,
and missed out on her when she couldn't visit with the * Il Divo's *.
But we managed to attend her concert in CHCH last January !!!
She blew me away !!!
