Hi all, When I visited Borders bookshop over the week-end and reserved my Harry Potter book six, I later went round to the magazine and newspaper section. I used to buy The Daily Mirror there a few years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see a few copies of the June issue of Classic FM magazine on the rack. The free CD of The Great Singers was attatched to the front and I started to read the pages. There was a lot of info. that I found to be very useful. Lots of commentary about Nicola Benedetti, who will be featured in the July issue.
Also in the magazine there was a brochure for 'Music on a Summer Evening' , which is a summer concert series at three locations (Kenwood, Audley End and Marble Hill). I knew that Hayley is perfoming at the Kenwood Summer Prom on 9th July. I know that you lot talked about reserving your deck-chairs.
I liked all parts of the magazine, esp. the travel and the features...even enjoyed the small ads and car adverts. I encourage people in the USA who read these forums to go round to Borders and pick up a copy of Classic FM magazine.
It was quite nice to have a little piece of Britain in my hands.
