I have two versions of Odyssey, soon getting more, but I have Korean and Last UK version (2006):
Prayer: This is a very beauitful and enchanting song, which is good to hear if you just had some bad time or feel you want some peace. This is fantastic, so soothing and lullyby like.
Never Saw Blue: This a very beauitful love song. I love this, great song. Make syou feel something inside when you hear it. Another great song. Makes love great!
Dell' Amore Non Si Sa: Heard Andrea Bocelli this on before, but Hayley on it too? She does not make it any better, but not worse either. Sounds basically the same, apart from Hayley. I don't really know if this is better with Hayley on it or not.
Ave Maria (Caccini): This is haunting, kinda creepy. This is done well.
Both Sides Now: This is amazing. I keep remembering this song and see video occationly on Classic FM TV and I have to watch. One of my favourites.
What you never know (Won't hurt you): This is great and sort of emotional, I think. This is amazing. Great love song, makes me wish I was in love at moment.
May it Be: Wow. Heard Enyas version and this is far better. So much more energy in this. You'd remember this one if she sang it in Lord of the Rings rather than Enya.
Quanta Qualia: Beauitfully haunting. Love the song very much. Great in latin, a very well done song.
Bachianas Brasileiras No.5 Aria (Cantilena): I can't tell if I like or dislike this song. Its nice, but not sure.
She Moves Through The Fair: Hard people like Fiona Wrights version and did not over like it much. Not until this one. The original one is amazing, especially with pipe instrument in it. The classical mix is great too. Hauntingly beauitful. Won't forget it in a while after hearing it.
I Say Grace: This sounds like someting you'd hear in a b;ack choir in a church or something, but this is great too. I like it alot.
My Heart Belongs To You: WOW from start. This is really amazing and truely beauitful. One song I will NEVER forget. Amazing, truely. Makes me wish I was in love. One of the best songs on these Albumns. Makes me feel sort of emotional.
The Water Is Wide: This a great song. Love the piano in it. Reminds me of water drops, sort of. Very uplifting and great. Well done.
Lascia Ch'io Pianga: I like this song, alot for some reason. Sounds very good.
Scarborough Fair: Remebered as "Simon and Garfunkels" song, but this is a good version.
O Mio Babbino Caro: This has always been my favourite song of all, for some reason. Hayley makes it this way more. She sings it well, better than some opera singers I heard. Very well done.
The Mists of Islay: This is a great uplifting song. Very nicley done. If you where there in Islay and you where listening to song, it would be nice. Great.
Laudate Dominum: This is a good song, althoug, I don't listen to it much and won't comment on it.
This albumn is a good one. SOme very intresting songs on it such as "She Moves Through the Fair" and "May it Be" I will still listen to these versions alot, but thats the way it has been with all Hayleys Albumns. Its great when it comes out, but it will always remain great, but it gets supassed by her next one wihc is just as good and turns into a "favourite" and this continues to happen as I have seen.
