Hi everyone far and wide! Today I had Hayley's semi-new album from Japan in the mail. It is called "Crystal - Classical Favourites" and is kind of a "Best of" with three new songs. The tracklisting has been given before if I am not mistaken, but I repost it here: 01 - Lascia Ch'io Pianga 02 - O Mio Babbino Caro 03 - Benedictus 04 - Laudate Dominum 05 - Wiegenlied 06 - Ave Maria (Caccini) 07 - Dido's Lamento 08 - The Water Is Wide 09 - Scarborough Fair 10 - She Moves Through the Fair 11 - The Mists of Islay 12 - May It Be 13 - Dell' Amore Non Si Sa 14 - Amazing Grace 15 - Pokarekare Ana I will still listen to it later this evening and if any of the known pieces have been re-recorded or even altered, I'll inform you right away. Looking through the booklet, I found this moving statement by Hayley: "This album is dedicated to Keith Sheel (1945-2005) whose tireless energy in running the HWI website was equalled only by his dedication as a full-time carer for those less fortunate than himself. Keith, you will be sorely missed by all of us. Hayley" Isn't that a lovely gesture? For my part, I consider myself happy to be a supporter of an artist who cares so much for each of the many hands who carry her. Hayley, you are truly special! With best wishes from Germany, Holger

What can one do but simply echo what has already been said. In everything she does, she is Hayley, and the whole is a moment in life to be treasured.
That tribute to Keith was another indicator of what we all believe time will prove to be the case with Hayley, that she is destined to be one of the truly great artists of her time: for it is only the truly greats that have time for everyone.
Despite the obvious need to have a retinue to keep her from the mundane of everyday, she retains an all-seeing awareness and receptivity which is probably why her feet remain so firmly on the ground and her head so well screwed on.
This is a girl who does not allow her focusing upon the detail to give her tunnel vision. She sees the detail within an awareness of the whole. This is a girl who not only concentrates upon the moment but is alert to everything else that is ging ona round her. You notice this, as I mentioned in my Huddersfield report, in the way she takes in a room she is entering. The seemingly casual sweep of her eyes, tells you she has noted everthing around her.
Thank you, Hayley for that note of recognition of your supporters.
Peter

I left off the kisses on my last post on this subject. XXX ]They're for Hayley, Andrew, not you! Yours is the malt. That doubtless explains (your quoted comment from Aled Jones that whisky wrecks the voice) why Hayley doesn't touch alcohol generally, as well as the fact it just isn't her thing.. Peter
