My Third Anniversary with HWI

Hi everyone!

Sunday will mark my three years on this forum. I'd like to express my appreciation to the admins past and present, and to my fellow moderators. We've been through the best and worst of times and shared so many emotions.

Also a quick thanks to the many members who have contributed so much of your photography and colorful text. I've had the opportunity to correspond with people from so many different countries.

I've saved my most special thank you for Hayley. Oh, how you have touched my life in countless ways. I value your involvement in UNICEF and countless other charitable interests. Thank you for sharing your God-given talent to us all.

Congratulations on 3 years with HWI Joe. Like Grant, in comparison I am a fairly new member but feel that I have been around with HWI much longer. You are made to feel so welcome and I am so enjoying corresponding with like minded people all over the globe.

Actually, I am a little behind you. Although I began looking at the main site in mid-November 2003, I didn't join the forum until January 2004. Looking back, I wonder how I ever survived without it!

Congratulations on reaching your third anniversary at HWI, you really are one of the old-timers now! That's exactly one month more than me (I was probably a lurker when you joined!) Congratulations Joe (from a relative novice!) - I hope I am able to emulate you in 2009!

I believe leather is the traditional present after 3 yrs but in these modern days either glass or crystal can substitute. I would go for the latter!!

You are absolutely right. Not only birdays should be mentioned here. Also the anniversary of being a HWI member. Thank you for all the posts and the time you spend here. For me it will take a while until I'll be here for three years.
