Great news Roger, in fact I went out to buy it today, even after vowing to get no Sunday Papers because my team was mugged in "The Great FA Cup Robbery" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif It's nice to see that Hayley is one of the 6 girls with photos on the CD cover. There's a link on the CD cover to: www.amazon.co.uk/songbirds who have a feature page on it. It's working, too, because "Pure" is suddenly up into the top ten Classical CDs at Amazon  Are we seeing a pattern develop? Decca seem to have started to steadily increase Hayley's public visibility already, the run-up to her new Album release may be underway! |

Only half the regions had the free CD last Sunday, the rest will have it with the Mail on Sunday on June 19th! Hayley's new album will be released in Japan on August 24th (HMV Japan) but it still has no name and no tracklisting! |

Bit by bit more information is trickling out about the new album. Kimberly at HWF forum mentioned an update on Hayley's Official Japanese site (translated here) and you can figure out most of it but Masaya's translation looks a lot better and hopefully she won't mind me reproducing it here (I'd never have guessed "Both Sides Now" from Google Translate!): Ave Maria (Caccini) Mozart's Lullaby Mary Did You Know? May It Be (from Lord of the Rings) Both Sides Now (Joni Mitchell) and others. The surprise for me is "Mary Did You Know?" as it's on the UK Special Edition of "Pure". But less than 10% of UK "Pure" owners have have the SE so it will be interesting to see if it's on the UK release. The Japanese site also reminds us that Hayley is on a mini-tour in Japan, until tomorrow 7th June. Only 9 days to Hampton Court when we can try to find out even more from Hayley herself, or someone! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif |

Hello again Dave! I'm pleased to see that "May It Be" is going to be on Hayley's new album, because it is the real highlight of the DVD for me and many other fans. It might also make a good single, but I doubt if Decca will be brave enough to consider it!  It looks as though several tracks will be suitable for airplay on BBC Radio 2, so it might be worth sending in a few requests when the album is released! I'm soooo glad that 'May It Be' will be on the new album as well. Also happy that 'Both Sides Now' will appear too. Those two songs were the highlights on the DVD for me.

I emailed our local cd store Soundz and asked if they have a release date they said mid August.in NZ
I had hoped July like last time, as Hayleys in Nz around the 2nd July but then i see she is in ,Was it ?Germany around the 14th July.
Mary did you know is a long time favourite of Hayleys she mentions this in an article( Interview)Which you can read in the Russell Watson Hayley Westenra Msn Group, In the Hayley scans Album.The article is called Rising Classical Singing Star .Bay Harbour News.Dec 2001
she is asked does she have a favouite Christmas song or Carol , She says yes i do,though its not very well known and i discovered it while listening to cds in a cd store and feel in love with it straight away.
Mary did you know is also of course on the Album My Gift to you.

I am currently chatting with Belinda on MSN messenger and we considered what the new album might be called. I know the discussion has taken place elsewhere but she came up with such a good idea that I think it is worth mentioning here. How about.... MAY IT BE Well, I'd buy it! Hayley's Official site releases the name of the new album It is to be called Odyssey Provisional release dates are NZ and Australia August 8th (Yeah) Asia August 15th Japan August 25th UK September 26th US October |
